[Video] The Ogrim

Post » Sat Sep 14, 2013 5:32 pm

I have four words that I thought of seeing that guy...

"GET IN MY BELLY!"

As for the facial thing.. well it' still in beta so there's still some time to tweak it. Also note that in the write up it said:

"You can see a short video featuring the ogrim as it currently appears in-game below:"

Oh... my. I don't see a resemblance. The Ogrim looks more like he wants to kill you than hit you with household appliances.

Well, I can't say I really love any of the models we've seen so far. Everything looks too cartoonish for my taste.
But apart from that the Ogrim looks okay, I guess...

Same can be said about bears and wolves finding gold coins and scrolls on them.

Which is why I tend to hate most loot systems in video games. I prefer handplaced and sensical loot and no level scaling in most games. Just don't make the character get overpowered via leveling. Dark Souls did this wonderfully. Sure you could trounce most of the guys you encounter in the beginning later on but they could still kill you if you were completely careless.

However that wouldn't really work in an MMORPG. At least not yet.

Agreed. Realistic Loot mods for Skyrim are always on my must-have list.

like the model, textures etc...but agree, the face ( and i watched the other creature vids too ) seems a lil too tame. Almost comical. that goes for all of them. They come across as ( i hate to say it ) modest conservative takes on WOW creatures.

I will run from that as soon.as I saw it... because I am one to do early level exploration with a high elf young magician..lol.. I love the amount of effort it takes to make a mages magic powerful but it pays off..

People find threads by googling and ignoring post dates :P

Children, if you dig up a thread with a search engine, BEWARE THE POST DATE, or you may become the necro-thread's next victim!
