Something is fishy about that Richardson trade. No team is going to give up on a quality RB so early like that. I'm thinking some kind of stuff behind the scenes in the locker room.

Richardson isn't a proven commodity or anything yet. He shows promise but for a team that is going nowhere in the next few years, it would make sense to dump him and try to get more value in the draft.
I can't believe that anyone who has played the game has played it while leaving emotion off the field. Quite frankly that is [censored].
Amyway, the Bengals showed why they will be the top of their devision this year and the Steelers showed why they are on the down swing. I think this is gonna be a good season for me
Keep in mind that the GM Michael Lombardi did not draft Richardson so he may see something that we're all not seeing. I wouldn't say it's locker room related but it's the assessment of the current Browns staff, primarily through Lombardi's eyes, that did not see what Tom Heckert saw last year when he drafted Richardson. I am a fan of Michael Lombardi and I enjoy his knowledge but this is a questionable call in my opinion. It is obvious that Lombardi is in rebuild mode from the bottom up. He is going to collect his own players like many GM's do and Richardson was obviously not one of his type of players. Even Jason Campbell is obviously not one of his players. I'll be watching the Browns game this week.
Just as a side note I found this: http://www.cleveland.com/pluto/blog/index.ssf/2012/12/browns_replacing_gm_tom_hecker.html
Just to paraphrase up to this point, it discusses Michael Lombardi and his view on how the Browns did during the 2012 draft to try and argue why he should not take over as the GM. This was his view on the Browns 2012 draft that included Richardson:
Trading a Running Back for a First Round draft pick is actually a pretty good deal.
Running Backs are plug and play. The O-Line is what creates the lanes, and the Receivers/Tight Ends are what blocks in the secondary. Shannahan traded Clinton Portis for Champ Bailey, a Cornerback. Probably the only good trade/personnel decision he ever made. Rushing yardage did not drop, and we greatly improved pass defense. The running game depends on many factors, the running back being the least of them. Besides, good RB's are a dime a dozen. Good O-Lines and Receivers who are willing to block, that what's rare.
That is very true. I mean if you think about http://iqfb.com/coach-facts/mike-shanahans-amazing-success-with-denver-broncos-running-backs/ and what they did elsewhere it is blatantly obvious that the system is what creates success, not the individual players. Still, Richardson is a tough, physical runner that can come in handy on goal line plays. The problem the Browns have is getting to the goal line.
Chiefs and Eagles play tonight, who do you guys think will win?
I am going with the Eagles.
I'm picking with a bias and saying Chiefs. They have a pretty good defense so it should be a good game.
I think it will be close, but I picked the Eagles because it's at the Eagles.
My heart says Eagles but my head is telling me Chiefs.
McGahee should help, he is a pretty good running back when he is healthy, good at pass blocking to when needed.
This game will be interesting. By now, the coaches have enough film on the Eagles to dissect what their offense does. Heck, even the porous Redskins almost got their act together on defense in the second half, even though the Eagles had slowed things down by that point. The Cowboys did not have much of a problem handling the team. The Chiefs are off to a surprising start this year, so I think the Chiefs are going to win this one in a squeaker.
My heart says Chiefs. Hometown team baby If they can pull out this game, they might even be able grab the division even with the broncos being as good as they are.
