That only shows that Sony isn't as greedy as Microsoft and Bethesda. They accepted the deal, they confirmed that a portion of their fanbase is more valuable to them then the others.

I'd much rather have free online, than have Sony have to charge to get all these exclusives.

After they started charging me ten bucks a month for live and I had six red rings of death, I was done.
I'm very far from a hater on businesses trying to make a profit, but Microsoft is horrible!
My PS3's online is free, I never have to buy batteries for the controllers, and it has never broken....not even once....

People still don't seem to understand a smart business move as a company. It just boggles my mind of the ignorance some people show and lack of understanding a business world. I could give a 10 page paper on how smart this deal is as a company but it wouldn't recieve any intelligent feedback or responses.....

Because cultivating ill will among customers and treating them as second rate consumers is an amazing business practice.

I'm actually an economics major.
I'm not saying it is a bad move, monetarily wise, but there's a thing called good will.

If you continually piss of your base they will leave....
They can't shuffle in enough new consumers to make up for their continual loss if they keep up this sort of quality/customer relations.
It would have been a better move on Bethesda's part to reject the deal; sure it seems like a lot up front, but if everyone quits playing your games Microsoft won't pay you anymore.

By all means, enlighten us ignorant ones. We're all eyes.

Fast money is all that matters to shareholders these days. Long term greed is dead now its instant or get out. When you goal is instant money, customer satisfaction, quality and ethics goes out the window.

Ohh look, a whole bunch of people acting like Bethesda is some cliche super-evil Illuminati type orginzation hellbent on screwing people over while totally ignoring the fact that Xbox 360 deals are strong-armed on companies by Microsoft using shady business practises like threatening to never publish DLC on the 360 unless its on the 360 first.

Why am I not suprised.

It peaked at "Furious" when DB was announced, then dropped when Bethesda assured us that DLC was "close". But it's rising again. And if DB is released with no now info, it's going to spike. I'd say "Furious" at least, maybe "Fuming".
