i want dawngaurd badly but im not wasting money on a xbox just for a dlc i am not a Microsoft fan to begin with but i dont enirely hate it. the games xbox has are good but i prefer ps3 mainly cause free internet service for starters if xbox did free internet ps3 would have huge competition. i dont blame bethesda for there mistakes i simply ask them that they pay for it.

You are proud that you own a xbox? what a strange thing to be proud of I'm not sure any electronic is worth being proud over unless it feeds your family and gives you shelter.

I never said anywhere that I hated PS3!! I OWN A PS3! and Idk why your trying to pick a fight and flaming me (by coping my sig) and saying it won't feed my family or give me shelter?? Thats just not right! I just don't like thease "Bethesda is a joke" and "Bethesa svcks" posts. They are trying to fix it and I just play my Xbox more for Halo, Gears of War, ect and my PS3 for God of War ect and I'm "proud" because like Xbox (I don't hate PS3)

I want to add that I agree with the free service on Xbox being a factor in my decision to switch to PS3. I was also ever-afraid of the RROD and I simply like the PS3 format better to be honest. I hate the Xbox controller and although I appreciate exclusive titles, the Xbox offering Fable against God of War is a joke. I feel slightly scorned for buying a PS3 and a game for a series of love on that system.. but again, I am not mad. Not at all. Just waiting and disappointed.

Edit: just adding that if I wanted other games the Xbox has, I could easily get them for my PC. It is MORE than capable of running them. However, I will not buy Skyrim AGAIN along with DG to play it. A waste of money. Yes... I know PC has mods. I get that. But I don't game on my PC anymore. I tricked out my PC to run MMO's and now I am married and the set-up is easier to play on PS3, my PC is more of a work station. I will NOT buy Skyrim again just to play the DLC or access mods. Now, I hear Morrowind is receiving an overhaul and I DO have the disc and expansions. I may, at some point, reinstall and have a go at this again. Not now though. As it is sitting on the edge of my bed to type on the comp is killing my back--forget sitting like this for hours on end in Skyrim.

this is turning into oblivion all over again. they are going to release a few small(and low cost) dlc and claim that the ps3 cant handle them. then all the sudden the big and expensive dlc will be released and magically work on ps3 without a problem.

Again what about the "others" it doesn't work for? They're leff under the bus and what if they find out that DG just won't work? Beth will have alot of PS3 players with "screwy" version of DG and that would be weird for Betesda. I think they will just keep trying to fix the problem and if Pete is saying its working for some then maybe Beth is making progress.

Again, this is the reason you do a beta. If it doesn't work on most of the systems, then you don't release it. However, if you can get those systems that might not be capable of running it to report their problems and save files back to gamesas's PS3 team then they might be able to find common issues or reduce memory issues/performance issues by isolating common problems.

I don't think they will claim that it cant handle it their not idiots. They just lack the skill... or perhaps they genuinely don't care hard to say.

Shivering Isles way a good expansion and Knights of the Nine wasn't that bad ethier. So we got the best of the DLCs but that not the point the point is Bethesda said that the PS3 will get ALL of the DLCs with Skyrim and in a year they will be proved liers or they will be proved liers when they admit DG isn't coming to the PS3

I think it's just oddly distracting and antagonizing in a thread about the Dawnguard on the PS3, especially when coupled with your posts.

But regardless, the whole conversation is fruitless. Out of curiosity, does Bethesda's staff ever respond to these threads or do they ignore them?
