Reason I believe Serana couldn't be married

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 4:48 pm

Maybe serana is there to torture you with the fact you can never have her.
you work with her through the whole questline, she probably becomes the drsgonborn's closest friend, and you can't marry her.
altough i've heard that she tries to convince you to get your vampiracy back (after you are cured) in a flirty manner
 LOL!

Well, I'm doing just fine with it. Really, why would you want to marry her? She's by far the best companion out there (imho) so keeping her at home cooking just wouldn't do. That's Aela's job!...and it's Lydia's job to clean the house and oil my armor!...and when I get home after a long day of killing things I get to kick back with all three. Bow-chika-wow-wow! :bunny:
Aela is not just a common housewife, i use her as my follower because it sutis her personality.

Agree with the OP! There is a damn Altar of Molag Bal in the Cathedral of Castle Volkihar! Hello Bethesda, that is enough! How about a marriage ceremony where Serana drinks from the fountain as well as the player to be bound in immortal, unholy matremony?
matrimony.
seems possible, but the Dawnguard don't have an altar of Molag Bal
Stab Janessa in the back, sacrifice her to Boaethia! No NPC matches Serana. They all svck. Not even a wife turned into a vampire can match Serana, cause Serana is pureblooded, and her dialogue doesn't svck donkey blood!
Serana svcks. she's a vampire, they all svck.
Nah I need someone to clean the house, pay me rent, cook  Beessiiddeess I fell like a mob boss with a skirt on the side, pretty funny now that I think about it, I'm a werewolf she's a vampire........kind a reminds me of a series of movies I'm not to proud to say I saw **cough** Underworld **cough** :wallbash:
i expected it to say Twilight. i'm sure that edward is actually gay.
EDIUT: Lydia got patched? What was patched, I didn't even know?
the devs forgot to add her to the potential marriage faction, but had dialogue etc prepared. so while the asserts for it was in place, they had forgotten to add her to the list. 1.5 patch added her to the list

Blood.
of course it's blood. vampires need blood
Serana is nice too look at, also her voice is nice, and she's awesome. shame she's not interested.
but, if i use her as my follower, i can possibly RP something.
unfortunately, both my characters are taken. but...

As did I, until Serana came along. Her scripting makes her uniquely more "alive" than the other cardboard followers, who just like to silently stare at the back of your head. Unfortunately she became my common housewife at that point.
Side note: I discovered the other day that Aela is not essential, something I was under the impression she was.
Does Serana cease being essential when you finish DG?

Serana svcks. she's a vampire, they all svck.
Technically, this is correct. Vampires do svck. ....blood.

Still essential for me, I have had my in game wife repeatedly beat her to a pulp for the disrespect she had shown her earlier in the DG questline.
Eventually the DG guys join in to give her an absolute hiding, she never dies though unfortunatly.

Aela is always Protected, meaning only the Dovahkiin can kill her, but Serana essential

that was my point

Yeah. Though I still don't understand how could Serana restrain herself from biting/feeding/svcking people around her for the entire DLC story. It was like if she wasn't a vampire at all, like the lesser vampire among her fellows.

This thread is really starting to have a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECnF3J8isL4
In all seriousness though, DO NOT cure her of her little problem, the end result is not worth it
