Everytime I try to enter multiplayer I get something along the lines of "Can't connect, returning you to SP" and then it goes to the loading screen. From there it doesn't do anything, and I have to return to the dashboard to start the game up again. I still haven't tried MP because of this. Any suggestions?

Well, you could always cheat by wearing the Elegant Suit? Or fold? Or play a bad hand and try bluffing them out? I do that, and usually get a good amount.

Okay, so the game tells me that I failed the American Appetite mission. It was the last thing I had to do before I got the Deadly Assassin Suit. I was also on the last part of it, is there any way to get it back? I've looked all over Armadillo and can't find the purple question mark indicator?

You'll have to wait a day for it to come back. It's with all of the Side Missions I learned. Fail, wait a day, go and do it again.

Also I HATE THE BLACKWATER POLICE!!!! I hogtie someone, (past duelist) and suddenly I'm wanted.... stupid police.

Ah, I've found the problem I'm having is pretty common. I'm hoping R* will fix this, but until then I won't be able to play in Public. Stupid connection issues...

You probably failed it by scaring the person you had to talk to by pulling out your gun or committing an act of violence they saw. I just reloaded when I did that the first time.

I may or may not have accidentally ran over the stranger near coots chapel. How the hell was I supposed to know the lady was basically blending in with her surroundings and sitting on the ground?

Was she laying on the ground? She should be a familiar face from the first part of the game, if you didn't kill her.

There's not really any way to get dealt better hands. It's all luck. A lot of the time though, if you just throw in a bunch of chips as a bluff you'll win.

Edit: @ Schnakers: she's not the stranger he's talking about. She's out west of Armadillo, not by Coot's Chapel.

No way... liars dice is by far the easiest game for me, but then I have been playing it for many years. In RDR it is so easy though that most the time you can win with all 5 dice still in your possession.

Blackjack is so easy. It seems like they make me win. Poker too. Liars dice confused me but I got the hang of it. Horseshoes is by far my favorite.

Same. I've made hundreds from Liar's Dice. It's mostly Maths. I've lost hundreds on Poker, though, trying to get a scrap for an Outfit at Armadillo.

Look out for Woody Swanson in Armadillo. He folds every time, even when he's got a good hand. The Jew-hating store owner, though... man, he is a jerk. He's a racist who goes around telling everyone you're a hired killer working with the Zionist conspiracy and takes all your money in the store and Poker. Killed him one time after I lost, bribed the other Poker player eye-witness not to tell the police. Came back in the room five minutes later and he has already respawned, standing over his own dead body. ARGH

I've cleaned out two guys all in the first hand. There was four of them total, and two of them folded their first hand. The other two, and me stayed. I kept them in all the way, until we all had to go all in. Cleaned them out of everything. Got 800+ from that. Never been able to do it again, but it was cool.

Also, Poker is my game.

If anyone wants to hunt while I'm online, just message me or invite me to a chat. Hunting is definitely my favorite past time in RDR.

The most I've won in a hand of poker was 1960 chips, 40 away from the achievement! My friend was over and he was laughing hysterically when this happened...Bastard.

Anyways, to anyone that has beaten the game:

Who else hates being Jack Marston? No offense to anyone who sports his facial hair, but I absolutely cannot stand it, and it's honestly preventing me from enjoying the game fully.
