I would love to have some quests for my ranch. Maybe build up its worth and start gathering an income off of it. Bringing in horses that Ive broken or having my livestock grow and multiply, something like that. Then we could have other things to spend money on. More outfits, better horses things for the ranch like a new barn or house upgrades.

I agree with the trains. They really should have been more capable of things. I would have liked to utilized the twin seats more, to carry along a captured bounty, and take him along for the ride? While being chased by his cohorts and having to fend them off of course. Maybe even being capable of derailing a train with dynamite!
Spoiler
(like you do with that military convoy in Mexico)
They could always have it so the rail line is fixed in a couple of days, making the train incapable of doing it's route for that amount of time.

And how did you rob the train(s)? I've been trying, but seem to fail each test I try.

I just shoot people and loot them, not realy a robbery. You did remind me of one other thing though, hostages... Why cant I make money from that, surely I could ransom everyone on the train or just the random npc I hogtied anr ran off with.

Yeah, you already have the minigames in place, and it would be a honest way to get money, maybe the ranch could be upgraded to, just start of small and ugly then the more you do the better it looks... Could rockstar add this as dlc ? Dosent seem like to much they already have most of the stuff in place, and some things like train robbing could be added, just point your gun at people and press B to demand money, dosent seem like it would be to much trouble and for me would add alot of fun to the game. (Its great but could always be better).

Thats what Im saying, it shouldn't be too hard to add in. You could eventually build up your ranch to be like the MacFarlane ranch.

I like it, aslong as we have a black dog named Charlie to patrol the area and for night missions.
But yeah ou have plenty of land, even more if you ended "water and honesty" in the same way as me" The land is dry, but its still land.

I'd like it if they'd have had a cattle mini-game. Like herding them here and there, taking them to this grazing land, then to another once that last one's been finished. And you should also be able to be a Cattle Rustler, and maybe rather just have the Elegant Suit be how you cheat, you can be wearing pretty much anything. I don't see how it couldn't be done?

How can you be a cattle rustler, all I can do is kill them ans skin them, not actauly steal them, would also be an interesting thing to add to the ranch, stealing others horses.

I know, but you should be able to steal them and sell them somewhere like Blackwater or Armadillo, or somewhere? And maybe have it that the Rancher(s) maybe beat you to one of the towns, and there's people waiting for you when you get there? Epic shoot outs? I have no problem with them. :P This could also go both ways when you're moving the herd to a new grazing ground.

Spoiler
I lasso'ed the bastard and dragged him to his well-deserved death.

I am over 10 hours into the game and just going into Mexico now, still some things in New Austin I want to complete first, the challenges mostly.

Also, where do wild boar appear? I cannot find any, and I've been travelling east-west and north-south and still haven't found any.

They're all over West Elizabeth. You won't find any in Cholla Springs or anywhere like that.

I've actually gotten two in the area just outside of Thieve's Landing, though they are pretty scarce.

That's interesting. I spend a lot of time in Thieve's Landing, and haven't seen one. Maybe I'm just not looking or realizing? I did after waking up and putting the disk in, mistook a brown rock on the way to Armadillo as a Grizzly Bear. Maybe I just missed them or they're rare to me. But near Blackwater and the north, they're rapidly abundant.

Also, anyone else realize that

Well they were both sort of Northwest of the town, along a dirt trail that sort of hugged a cliff around.

I'm wondering when I should go fight those wolves to level up my hunting rank. Also I need to get past the second rank of Survivalist, collecting plants is so damn boring.

As far as DLC ideas, I would like to see some sort of indian reservation dlc where the ultimate outcome would be either you make friends with them and are allowed to trade for goods or you make enemies of them and they are hostile if you enter their territory. I was disappointed at the overall lack of indians in the game

WARNING: SPOILERS

Just did that in case anyone doesnt wanna see what the latter part of the game holds.

Spoiler
So i am going to work on getting the US Marshall outfit, and It says complete all US gang hideouts in a 24 hr period, does this mean just New Austin? Does the cesspit Blackwater have no gang hideouts?

And I am at 96% game completetion, do the last two outfits make 100% Or does that last mission plus those two outfits make 100%?

I was confused on the gang hideout thing too. Is it 24 hours real time or game time? There is supposed to be a hideout in Cochinay but I cannot find it.

For the 100% you need:
Do all story missions
Collect all rare weapons (5 in total)
Do all the jobs
Own all the houses
Unlock all the outfits
Complete all gang hideouts
Do all Stranger missions
Do all ambient challenges
Find all bounty mission locations.
And discover all map locations.
Play and win 1 of each minigame

Is it bad of me to dress as a US Army soldier and go into Mexico and shoot everyone I see :gun:

This game is awesome when it comes to bullet damage. I was just playing around in Armadillo, and some of Walden's Gang was in the saloon, when I got the idea to pull a cool massacre on them all and blow them to kingdom come (speaking of which, whenever you shoot someone in the head, check their heads out...:whistling:) Anyway, there was this one member of the gang, and he was the nearest to one of the windows. I shot him three times in the chest with my Mauser Pistol, and what did you know, the bullets went through him and made little holes in the glass. After that, the guys hand flew up and smashed the window above one that had a hole in it.

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

EDIT: And no Wyatt, I do the same... I just say it's the Mexican-American War. :P

Found my first bug in Single Player today. I was roaming around Tall Trees and I saw a bald eagle on the ground. As it flew in the air I shot it and it fell through the ground and disappeared. :(

Also, anyone see http://reddead.wikia.com/wiki/Manifest_Destiny Who has the heart to kill all the buffaloes?

They were not true Indians they were Dutch's gang.

As for DLC I too hope they focus more on SP.Give MP some love but its the SP that makes this game great.I actually prefer Jack.John is cool and all but does not leave much to the imagination.
