You have the Mad Max esque Fallout 3 with the White Knight BOS and the Dart Vader Enclave fighting one each other, that wasn fanservise enough or what?

no. You've had 3 games of cowboy NCRs running around with their tents in the desert, wasn't that enough or what? :teehee:

I said IF. I'd rather a game of raiders, vipers, slavers, all that hard-core lo-fi survivalist stuff.

And anyway, FO4 is going to be all about the Enclave in Chicago :evil:

Hell no. I don't want to see anymore of those tech hoarding [censored]. There are more factions than them you know. Don't you think they've had plenty of screen time so far?

Besides, the DLC would svck because it would force you to join forces with them. That doesn't work so well considering I kill every single of of them every Fallout game I play (other than Tactics and 3)

No, there shouldn't be. The Brotherhood of Steel by and large is a dying organization. Personally, I'm tired of them returning in nearly every game at this point. Let them die off and quit beating a dead horse.

that isnt very respecful and yes there should be a bos dlc

BOS presence:
* Fallout 1
* Fallout 2
* Fallout Tactics
* Fallout 3
* Operation Anchorage
* The Pitt
* Broken Steel
* Fallout New Vegas
* Dead Money

Do BOS need a DLC?
Hell no, on the list of what faction needs a DLC the most BOS is at the absolute end.
They're the most overused faction in Fallout.
Now Legion on the other hand, they've only been in one game, they need a DLC.

Yep.They were so...underused in New Vegas.So much potential wasted.Even though I sided with House(RPing reasons),the Legion had the bets ideas on how to treat the Wasteland.

Better Legion then using a oversused faction like the BOS or the Enclave,

No thanks. The Brotherhood has gotten plenty of screen time in previous games. 'Bout time for the Legion to get some love and some new characters to be introduced.

BOS are over played. west coast, east coast and mid-west. let them die.. or at the very least give them a game off. I liked them in FO1. but like Talonfire said, its not 2161 anymore. times have changed and humanity has left them behind. the only BoS chapter that has a chance for the future is Lyons BoS. because they have changed. as much as I dont like fallout 3's plot, that chapter is actually looking out for the wasteland and doing what Veronica would like to do on the west side of things.

I would like to see Protector Casdin's face when he gets word from the west coast that hes out on his own. I wonder would he reconsile with Lyons?

I don t think bos should be in any dlc at all. Too bad fo has 47 different endings, because there s a 10 year old fo that has no canon ending.

With ed e talking about Chicago fo4 IMO will go the Chicago and pick up on the mid west bos.

I mean how many more years can a game go with no ending.

I hope for all of you that love 47 endings, but hate the bos.......for all of you I hope fo4 is all about which one of the 6 fo tactics endings is canon, and I hope its all about the bos. Just for you dynamic what happened 10 years later lovers.

I hope its so much bos you guys puke.

We have a 10 year old hole in the fo story line it needs filled.

CHICAGO HERE WE COME. MID WEST BOS IS GOING TO BE A MONSTER!!!!!! CAN T WAIT!!!!!

I'd like a Fallout game that was based in China.. No BoS, no NCR, no Enclave and certainly no Legion...

I'd like to see what post apocalyptic China is like...

Main problem is chicago should include the mid west bos. If Bethesda says high level events in fo tactics are canon I think they need to key us in on the highest level event THE ENDING.

Bos has been in every fallout, and they show the ability to adapt.
BOS isn t going anywhere.

What is Bethesda going to do show us Legion life next fo lol

I hope the next fo says NCR slapped them all over nevada, then I hope they run away straight into the mid west bos with 1 ending. Legion goes extinct.

Huh? No I didn't mean no BoS, Enclave etc ANYWHERE..
Just not in a game that basically shows us what the other half of the pre-war warring factions live like...
Ya know, just to add a new angle to the whole FO universe?
As things stand civilisation is starting to pick up again, soon they'll be fully fledged cities and booming industry.
If we really want FO to stay FO and not become just another generic RPGFPS then we need something new to happen..
Something that halts the current rate of progression that the game has built up to..

A new world war perhaps that unsettles the balance of power that has been established now?

Just putting my thoughts out there. Feel free to disagree, no need for flames though.. ;)

We're far, far more likely to see the Commonwealth in Fallout 4 considering how many times it was mentioned in Fallout 3 and its DLC. Chicago was mentioned once in an Obsidian game. Assuming that the next Fallout game will be set in Chicago based on one reference is a little silly.

I don't think the Chicago reference was anything more than a throwaway to past Fallout games, and the writers pointing out that there's more to the Fallout world than what's going on in each game at any given time. I doubt we'll ever see it in a future game since Fallout Tactics was already set in and around Chicago.

Me and my cowboy ilk will ride in (on what I'm not sure, mole rats?) steal all the BoS technology and burn it. Because lets face it, we're cowboys and we are just insane. It's the hats I think. They have adverse effects on our brain chemistry.

But personally I don't want the BoS fully removed from Fallout but I think they should take a powder for a game or two. Establish new factions in the universe, see how other groups of people we don't know about are surviving and what their ideals for a post-apocalyptic society is.
