You're wrong, Sinding wanted the ring to control his lycanthropy but since it was the cursed version it had the opposite effect. You need to know your quest lines before you start preaching about "werewolf rights" as if it's some sort of civil rights issue. you're the pathetic one.

no you are the pathetic one, sinding was able to control his lycanthropy even after you get the ring of hircine.

There is a human form toggle. It's called "wait - 1 hour"

That plus the savage feeding perk means you can eat animals as you roam and the wolf form never really runs out unless you want it to. The only time you need to worry about if going out before you want it to is if you are tackling an interior with only undead. But them that is exactly what the ring of hircine is for. An on/off toggle would be easier but at this point thats like trying to make the difference between drinking water from a glass normally or using a straw to drink the water from the glass. Both ways are easier than piss and all falls down to preference.

Sinding is a Daggerfall style Lycanthrope. Instead of just making assumptions and trying to make a point, read carefully what I had to write. Normal werewolves can transform TWICE a day at will, but they still suffer from forced transformations.

Replay the quest or rewatch the youtube videos.

"That is why I wanted the ring. It was said to give men like me control. I am sure you heard of men who shift to beasts under the influences of the moons. I am one of them. A werewolf."-SInding.

Sorry bub, lore is still lore and you simply lost in this argument. It is what it is friend. If you don't like it, then you can take it up with half the lore masters here in the forums, or at least someone who uses common sense. Sinding wanted the ring to control his Lycanthropy, but Hircine threw a curse on it because he stole it.

Exactly how I feel. Rushing to feed again is alot of the fun in running around as a werewolf. Wish I could force change back to human form though.

Yeah, you could...to heal yourself, I mean...

WOW you just double down on a lost argument. Keep displaying your resounding ignorance of the game and lore to me and everyone on this forum.

Hopefully they'll add the option to be infected by wild werewolves (I miss Sanies Lupinus) for us people that want lunar transformations and leave the companions for the people that want a more controlled version(Since they're "SPECIAL" werewolves cursed by the glenmoril witches).

This is what I keep saying. I mean, I don't mind them making lycanthropy friendly for casual players, but they shouldn't forget about the players that like having lycanthropy having that curse aspect to it like getting infected through combat and having lunar transformations.

Yes let's make werewolves even less of what they are supposed to be

It's supposed to be a curse, not something you can control. Go watch An American Werewolf in London.

why would you want it to be a curse?? I think we should be able to control it.

In elder scrolls being a werewolf is a curse you are forced to transform during a full moon and you have little control over what you do and won't turn back until the morning also be glad you don't have forced transformations in skyrim thanks to the pact the companions made with the witches. Its just how the elder scroll werewolves are setup its a part of their lore.

Its not like being a vampire when people contract lycanthropy they become beasts its not something you can just switch off when you are transformed.

in the lore it never says werewolves have to transform every full moon, it is just how bethesda set bloodmoon up.

:banghead: :stupid:(joke)

Look up Daggerfall Lycanthropy. Listen to Sinding's dialogue on the full moons. Listen to how Aela makes a comment on the moons. Werewolves are attuned to the moons. Bloodmoon did NOT have lunar transformations because it was the Bloodmoon, a ritual that takes place in Solstheim. Werewolves transformed every night because it would not make sense for them to wait every 15 days to flush out the prey that Hircine needed to capture. The event completely buffed up the powers of werewolves during that event in the island. Daggerfall werewolves are true, unmodified werewolves to lore, they transform under the full moon. There is an ingame book which has a cemetary caretaker who is forced to transform into a werewolf on different nights.

Werewolves in Elder Scrolls are suppose to act like werewolves, not power-up doggy-hulk where you can run around killing people. Sure, that can be fun in and all but there HAS to be drawbacks to being a werewolf and not just lack of sleep. You may want to read more on werewolves in the Elder Scrolls universe instead of checking out Skyrim alone, because if you abide by a single game out of a large series, then you will be easily mislead.

Even werewolves with the pact with the witches have a hard time to control there lycantropy, Vikas mentions the "call of blood", which he fears he cant control.

Toggle werewolf shifting no,
Toggle between werewolf howls and nighteye power yes.

Daggerfall werewolves are true, unmodified werewolves to lore, they transform under the full moon. There is an ingame book which has a cemetary caretaker who is forced to transform into a werewolf on different nights.
Plus twice per day at your own option and an unlimited number of times if you had hicrine's ring. But really werewolves in daggerfall didn't have much in the way of drawbacks, especially if you got hicrine's ring.

I mentioned this in the first page, I believe, about the transformations at will. But I do agree with the toggle being off and the howls being on.

I don't need to be a fan of werewolves to know that what your asking for goes against lore.

Bethesda has already given werewolves in skyrim a lot of leeway in terms of the curse, Skyrim werewolves are more of a perk than anything else.

I think that all in all they should add it in with the ring of hircine and companion lycanthropy. But there should also be a wild, in uncontrolable variant. Skyrim (and the rest of TES series for that matter) is all about options, right?

As a fan of werewolves I don't want them to have the ability to turn back to human form anytime they want like vampires.
"Once you awaken the warrior with in you cant go back, you crave bigger battles bigger thrills, nothing will satisfy you, money, power, not even six, the only think you crave is WAR"
Same applies to werewolves, even the ones with the special strand.
