gamesas never fixed Fallout 3, they won't fix this game. If you want to see any change, make them give your money back.

Going to call up Best Buy tomorrow and see if they will let me exchange my PS3 version for the 360 version.

If that doesn't work, I'll have to call Bethesda directly and not stop until something happens. Not letting this one slide.

Please tell me if they allow you to do it, as I am in the same boat. This PS3 version is BROKEN and I feel as a consumer to be RIPPED OFF. :swear:

Does anyone play on the slim 320 gb? At what point does the game start to slow down considerably?

Read what people were suggesting to do in that thread. You just can't do that and expect the thread to stay open.

Regardless. It's against Federal law and is a banned topic here, and most anywhere else on the net. Just because you may feel jilted it doesn't justify committing a crime. Ask a prison inmate. They'll tell ya like it is.

Regardless Bethesda still maintains the right to protect it's interests and intellectual property. And until the next patch comes out all this speculation and conspiracy that the lag will not be fixed is exactly that. Speculation. And the speculation is running rampant and getting out of hand.

:goodjob:

Contrary to popular belief, this ain't the first [censored] game Bethesda has launched.. I've seen a couple on these same boards myself. The first couple weeks these threads are all the same, all vile, nasty, and way over-blown, then a patch or two comes out, and this sub-forum will be dead. Crickets chirping, tumbleweeds rolling, dead.

Very true. And all of those glitches, bugs, and lagging areas after Bethesda came out and said http://playstationlifestyle.net/2011/08/31/skyrim-on-ps3-%E2%80%9Cgetting-a-ton-of-attention%E2%80%9D/. They flat out lied about the quality of the PS3, denied any footage of the PS3 version, and then sold out a massively bugged game with huge performance issues that could only have been blatantly ignored by the development team. They knew well in advanced about all of these issues, and still chose to release the game in its current state. Honestly, I would rather have had them push back the PS3 version by a few weeks in order to fix these issues instead of just taking money for a product that contains major faults.

There is nothing worse then apologists like you. Why are you even here, you obviously don't care about how broken your game is.

They release a few patches that fix the game and then these forums are gone? When did that EVER happened? NEVER, it's an out right lie is what it is. They never fixed Oblivion, never fixed Fallout and never fixed New Vegas. You know what happened? People got tired of complaining, they realized it did not matter to them.

Does Amazon do refunds for games once they've been opened?

Not that important, but the floor of my cupboard isn't the best place for it. And it isn't worthy of a place on my game rack next to games which... you know... work!

"Jilted" is a huge understatement. Bethesda screwed us all. They lied to us. They sold us a broken game. Now tell me why we should be expected to spend even MORE money to get a working version of the game we have already paid for!

But you're missing a couple key points:

1. My game isn't "broken."
2. Like I said, I've seen a few launches here. 90% of you won't be here 2 weeks from now. Not a rule, just an observation of past launches. Not gone like you think I said, but dead. Nobody here to answer posts.
3. These sub-forums, believe it or not, are not designed as a catch-all complaint desk. They are here for the discussion of problems and possible fixes or work-arounds, which I've seen very little of. At least in the other technical sub-forums they are trying to help out each other and find fixes instead of running around with torches and pitch forks calling up a mob.

Given the problems are to do with the games coding, how are "work-arounds" going to suffice? The game is flawed, and that is blindingly obvious.

The only word from Bethesda is that they are "always trying to combat" LAG issues (Taken from the response to my Support request mail). From the way they made the game, i would say they are doing an extremely poor job of it.

1-
2- Been here for every launch since Oblivion, and what you just said isn't true. Like i said, people get tired of complaining.
3- Excuse me?! Maybe you haven't noticed but the other versions don't suffer from a bug that turns the game in to a slide show.

You're just another apologist, plain and simple.

Yeah, we don't allow discussion of piracy here, and it looks like that thread was closed because it was getting quite close to that. Considering that we instantly ban members for admitting to, encouraging, or giving help for pirating or obtaining illegal copies of a game, there's no way we can leave a thread open if it starts going in that direction.

Also just a point for clarity - Moderators are volunteers, not Bethesda employees. If a thread is closed, is not going to be because someone at Bethesda didn't want people bad-mouthing them or anything like that.

Really it comes down to: the opinions found in a thread aren't going to be what causes a lock, but the way in which they expressed will.

People are going to come to this sub-forum because they're having problems and want to discuss or vent about those issues. And I can't think of a more appropriate place to do that. That said, we do have forum rules that apply to everyone regardless, and it's our job to make sure they're maintained. And really that just comes down to simply keeping discussion civil and respectful.

My game isn't broken either - just got done with a two hour session and approaching 30 hours total. No complaints - game running smooth so far.

I just want to say this is one of the more thoughtful, balanced and intelligent posts I have seen in this forum. Thank you.

I do agree with the fact that no one should talk about piracy, however when people say ''They stole our 60$ with a broken game '' they are saying the truth nothing else.
