The first DLC should have designable tattoos. I mean, if COD can do something similiar with 'logos' then why not? :P

On a more serious note, I think its more a 'style' thing than anything else. To show some of the diversity of the cultures involved on the ark. Also, I'm fairly certain there is more then ONE El-Salvador(tor?) gang, and I HIGHLY doubt that the tattoo will represent a specific gang.

So enjoy some diversity!

Damn, that's pretty sad when a kid is telling a parent how to be a parent. Your kids are going to be lucky to have you when you're a parent.

if a parent has a problem with a game they talk to their kid about it or dont let them play the game. I dont know why every one has to change the game for everyone so its more child friendly. thats why they put ratings on games.

Honestly it really shouldn't matter they are just tattoo's within a "game" they are not promoting any gang activity what so ever. I can understand if the KKK, Nazi, Bloods, Crips, w/e have you but they are just there for looks, nothing more, nothing less. Plus it's a location not necessarily a gang.

It's funny how you bring up Bloods and Crips, because Mara Salvatrucha is much more violent then both of them. Hah!

Lets not let this degenerate into a 'Gang' thread ok? It was fine questioning the developer's decision to include such tats, but actual gang discussion? Leave that for the streets. This is my place for Brink. Not gangs.

I saw a lot of genuine Russian prison tattoos, which is rad that the Brink team did that much research.

And did I see some MS 13? [censored] Brink you are thorough

honestly, the tatoos that you can put on your character are the LAST thing id worry about. your son blowing some dudes head off is a lot worse...

but brink isn't that bad of a game, its all fictional, has a cartoony art style, and its not like cod where your killing terrorists or commies.

Actually the resistance could be interpreted as terrorists while the security could be looked upon as oppressors so...

it just doesnt have that american propoganda feel cod has, or that feeling theyre trying to make it realistic as possible.

none of my friends are going to sign up for the military because of brink

That's because they will all be bangers after they play Brink. So don't do it please the ark is going to be lost for good now.

Nawww I'm just joshin', I'm going to make a Russian character because this is the first time we've been portrayed in video games as non faceless-snow-soldiers who go "AIYEEEEEEEE" and whose movements are easily predictable.

Depending on how VOIP operates I'm probably still going to go "AIYEEEEEEEEE!" though.
