Season Pass costs now more than base game

Post » Thu Mar 31, 2016 2:35 am

This being the 38th thread on this, I doubt it'll stop until the "When is WW coming out" "I don't think WW is worth a big mac" "OMG they stole my $5" threads start hitting the forums.

Can't we all just blame the Institute?

Nah I'm done speaking my piece. All it's doing now is causing people to get cranky.

The instatute did nothing wrong.

Im hoping they do some similar stuff with synths later on. I was disapointed to not have my personal synth army when siding with the instatute.

Eh, if you can't see that this is much more than Hearthfire, I'm not sure there's any more conversation to be had.

Just the words "cash grab" make me think there's no reason to bother discussing. That whole scene (the "DLC is removed content!" "cash grab!" "games are too expensive!" etc) isn't my thing - I don't have a default adversarial relationship with the devs & assume they're "out to get me".

Would it have been nice if the quest content was a bit longer? Sure. But that doesn't mean the DLC doesn't have plenty of content in it, or that it's not worth $10.

Who else bought the season pass when it was cheap?

I did, even Beths worst dlcs tend to be worth it in the long run. *cough* Hearthfire *cough* I freaking hated that expansion, and built one or two houses. I was not impressed. Horse armor, I got more use out of.

Modding wise though is where beth dlc really shines. How long until custom robot parts are made? Its an exciting time!

Truth be told this is my biggest hang up. I appreciate the crafting aspects, I really do. I feel pretty confident saying that I've spent more time crafting than questing overall. I don't know. I guess in my mind when I hear DLC I think of things like the Pitt, Dead Money, Dragonborn, etc. Things that are just overloaded with content. Either way I'm still sitting here playing around with robots. SInce it's the internet I reserve the right to change my opinion later on down the road lol.

One thing that I absolutely LOVE is tagging crafting materials to search for them. The little magnifying glass at vendors is awesome.

I haven't seen people 'all over the forum' hating on the dlc I've seen you and like 3 other people whining about petty things and spouting opinions that manage to be factually wrong.

I never said there were people "all over the forum" hating on the DLC? So I'm not real sure where you're getting that from. As to your other comment I was unaware that opinions could be factually wrong. But sure. Anyways, you're a little behind. If you want to continue shoot me a PM lest we continue in the thread and cause more people to get pissy.

Just a little FYI. GMG has Fallout 4 and the season pass on sale. I just bought both for $53.

Doesn't sound like your looking for a conversation anyway. Hell, I think the last conversation I had on the Internet was in '99 using AOL. Now all it really amounts to is who types the loudest, is the most snarky, and who brings up Hitler first. As for Bethesda being greedy, you are aware they are a game company that makes money off developing and selling games right? They charged you too much for a luxery good that you really didn't need anyway? No wonder politics can support a Sanders these days.

DLC is 30 dollars. It's not anyone's fault you didn't buy it when it was cheaper.

If you're referring me, I did buy it when it was 30. I've said that a couple times now.

If it is my opinion that the sky is purple with yellow polka dots, water is not wet, fire is not hot, and money grows on trees; then my opinion is factually wrong. No two ways about it.

I agree completely. However my opinion is that the stand alone cost for the DLC is too much, is not a factually based statement. It's an opinion. Blanket statement time, and I apologize in advance to those who it does not involve.

From the second I posted, I've been getting jumped. All because I have a dissenting opinion. Yet I read post after post of people with the victim's mentality here. Yet the one poster who does have legit cause to complain(me) doesn't. Well until now. I've never attempted to pass anything I've said as fact. Not once. This is a perfect example of the vocal majority shouting down the minority(not your post MMZ, the situation over all.) I've made my stance clear, while discussing things in a civil manner, yet rarely received that in kind.

It's sad.

If any of you wish to discuss my stance further, PM me. It's an open invitation.

Haha, some people won`t even let me say the Automatron DLC wasn`t good enough for 4 months of waiting. lol

I do understand some people do get protective over the game they love, but they should know almost everything stated by individual on internet is subjective opinion.

Things would be a lot prettier if people focus on sharing their own opinions rather than defying others` opinions.
