Season Pass costs now more than base game

Post » Thu Mar 31, 2016 12:55 am

So in theory we should get as much content in upcoming DLC's as the base game provide.

In practice we already see first reviews, people whining all over the forum about how short Automatron is.

So yeah, days where $10 DLC were like that are long over now Bethesda. You got some serious competition comparing to other companies DLC size. Such as CD Projekt Red

Or most recently expansion for half of the price what F4 SP is asking for Dying Light which gives u basically a whole new big map with lots of stuff to do.

To be fair, most people purchased the season pass when it was half the price.

lulz CD Project Rekt. Yeah if I want to roleplay as a middle aged 80's hair band reject, I would look into the Witcher DLC.

Narrative driven games are dead OP, and Bethesda played a huge part in killing it.

Buh bye Tomb Raider. Buh bye MGS. Buh bye Witcher. RIP.

edit - Automatron is a further twist of the knife. Heh heh.

My suggestion would be if you don't like what the season pass costs - don't buy it.

Voting with your wallet is the only vote that counts. Much like our political system.

Many of us think the cost is very reasonable for the entertainment we get.

Last I checked 60 dollars is more then 50 dollars. If you mean the price like exactly right now on steam then yea, the season pass is more because the season pass isn't on sale whereas Fallout 4 is.

The season pass is $50. If anything it should be Fallout 4.5

If the rest of the DLC's are as awesome as Automatron then the season pass even at the higher price is a bargain imo.

Wait what? Automatron is a overprice DLC that should be $5 with very little content in it. If the rest of the Season Pass is like that it'll be a huge rip off.

So your own pointless thread about how short Automatron wasn't enough, so now you're trolling other threads and bashing Bethesda? Do your research, they gave us more than they promised and at a reasonable price.

The base game is also on sale now in most places, because it's 5 months old (or is it 6?). I purchased it new in January for about 15% off the original price, I guess it's now 25 or 30% off. That's depreciation for you.

The difference is that the season pass is for DLC that hasn't yet been released (with the exception of Automaton).

CD project DLC righthhhhhhhttt...........

Bc i havent touch Witcher 3 since i finish the game and i have uninstall it from my PC.

Hell i not even going to [censored] replay that game to check the new DLC since, 1 DLC arent part of the main quest (that make 0 senses for a game like Witcher 3) and 2 they add 0 to the core game, hell the only good part of HoS was to be finish and looking the story 1 time. I didnt got a single item on the DLC that was better that my craft set.

I got half way through the first Witcher 3 DLC - and I have not played it since.

I prefer a game I actually enjoy playing.

MGS5 I still go back and play the occasional side mission. No one does stealth combat better.

But the main mission really svcks...

Who in their right minds would not buy the 29,99 season pass when you KNOW it will be 50,00 later!? I picked it up straight away.

On DL, As much as I did love Dying Light's The Following DLC they also made anther DLC Cuisine & Cargo for £10.99 which was 2 new Quarantine Zones which were tbh shockingly short and poor, a real ripoff to me. Also a cheaper £4 Ultimate Survivor Bundle was also very poor.

The fallout franchise has been great, I loved the game theme and story since Interplay produced the first one. At the end of the day, it takes a lot of time and staff to create and hire new voice actors etc to produce additional content for a game and to integrate it to the main story line is great, no complaints from me. I dont mind paying a price if I think the product is worth paying for. :) And that is Fallout 4. I just dont understand all the hate, the DLC creates a complete new feel to the base story line, and allows you to fully customize a robot and its colour and theme...what more do you want, and you paid for additional 1hour worth of script on the mechanist. :P
