I shot a frog and two birds with an air rifle when i was a teenager. The second bird and frog made me feel pretty bad about it and I never did that again.

I accidentally ran a possum over once. Normally I'm that crazy person who swerves way off the road to avoid even small birds, but the possum ran out on a blind corner at night :(

I've hit plenty of animals, I used to live in the country.

And it's almost a state-wide tradition to go out on toad-killing/catching drives.

So why is this a serious question, do you feel some amusment in harming animals? Apparently that's the signs of a psycho killer :ahhh:

* - I realised you also said hurt, I've hurt my dog a few times, accidentally standing on his tail or giving him a slap on the hind legs when he's being completely out of control and disobdient.

I killed my pet hamster when I was small. It bit me, and I reflexively shook it off. It went splat on the wall. A few hours later it was dead. :(

For really serious infractions, I'll hit the dogs with newspapers. It doesn't really hurt them; rather, the sound and the sensation of something batting at them scares them into behaving.

... can't think of anything else. I'm not a hunting/violent person.

No I haven't I don't even kill spiders or wasps whereas most people I know do. I actually catch them spiders in my hands and use a glass jar and a piece of vard to get teh wasp once it's landed and then put them back outside, I see no reason to kill them.

:(, I've never kept hamsters, they aren't as pettable as guniea pigs and aren't as amusing to watch as mice.

Don't think so. Certainly not deliberately. You're not counting arachnids but I have killed my fair share of spiders.

My worst nightmare is accidentally hurting my sister's guinea pigs, I love them a ridiculous amount.

Not that I can remember, unless you count all the nearly hatched pigeon eggs I've destroyed on my balcony. Occasionally I gently kick geese (purely in self-defence, I assure you, they're diabolical birds) but I don't think I ever really injured one.

My girlfriend used to call me to her house to capture and release moths/wasps/bees/janny-longlegs and other various spiders from her house before she killed them.
She once used deodrant, hairspray and some sort of bacteria/bleach spray to kill it because she was too scared to squish it, she failed and I came and released it thinking it was a mammoth of a spider, no it was nothing more than an average size.
I found her methods sick.

Fish, that's about it. Camping and a rainbow trout wrapped in tin foil and chucked in the fire. Delicious.

I've kept all three, and I agree. Guinea pigs and mice are awesome. Hamsters just die very often and very easily, whether because they've got incredibly particular feeding requirements or because they're so fragile.

This is what I do. Except I won't generally touch spiders, I either move them with a jar/paper or just leave them where they are and avoid that part of my bedroom. The only time I've deliberately killed a wasp was when it wouldn't get off me and stung me three times before I swiped it off and squished it accidentally.

I will, however, kill flies and mosquitos. Flies because they get totally out of control otherwise and tend to get so bad they literally land on your food as you try to put it in your mouth, and mosquitos because they're vicious bastards. I still have a huge black circle on my leg from where one bit me.

Other than those two, I love all living things and try as hard as possible to avoid harming them. I even rescue snails off the footpath/road when it's raining.

Cane Toads dont count as animals. They're like Murlocs, we commit genocide of them on a daily basis and somehow they just keep coming.

I have never killed anything. Insects, maybe, but I haven't killed one in years. Come to think of it, I have only ever held a gun but never fired it.

I do confess that I did shoot arrows at a few kangaroos as a kid :(

I did miss, but I guess it still counts.

I didn't kill that pig I just ate at lunch, merely ate what the killer didn't want and sold on.
Just like I'm not responsible for the deaths of the people in this city because I live in it. ;)

I had to put down a rabid animal one time, I had no choice my dog Loki just got over a serious illness and I live out in the county so calling the police or animal control doesn't work. I didn't feel good about doing it but I had to protect my property and my pets.
