Should I trade skyrim for ME3

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 7:16 pm

Have you played the other two games? Again, I would not recommend it unless you have.
No. But it will cost me 43$ to buy 1&2 and I am very broke, I only have 30$ to spend on games, so I need to trade something... Like skyrim which will get me 35$ so....

Then you will like mass effect. and for those saying the story isn't good, or the characters are bland, they are judging the game to harshly.

btw ME1 and ME2 are pretty cheap. I wouldn't trade Skyrim for them, but they are worth the little bit of money it costs to buy them
They are 20$ a pop! I can't do that..,, I only have enuf for ME3.....

That makes no sense. You're willing to spend all that on a new game, but not that much on two games that you haven't played yet? What about ME3 do you want more than both ME1 and ME2?

Old? They're all on the same console.

If you have that much money then get ME1 and 2 instead, and then get ME3 later on if you like them. I mean, ME3 hasn't even come out yet! (and brand new games are way more overpriced)

But you have no problem spending twice as much on a game that's basically the same thing, because it's new?

Yes.. Because it has multiplayer and some of my friends are getting it, and because the grafix are better, I'm assuming that it's a bigger place/longer game and has more customizable stuff too.

Look I don't really wanna fight with you but...,

If that's your reason then you shoud look into another series entirely. Mass Effect is not about multiplayer or graphics, you are only going to be disappointed.

Let me tell you waht I want. A game with a cover system, choice that effects the story, customizable characters, some freeroam, some multiplayer, and optional side quests.... Is that what ME3 is?????

Most likely, no one here actually knows yet because the game isn't out. I'm surprised that ME 1 and 2 are so expensive where you are I got ME 2 for $10 and ME 1 for $5 on Steam. I went into an EB games and saw ME 2 for $12 used.

I don't know what ME 3 is going to be like, but you might be lost in the story if you jump straight into it. The graphics are great on the previous 2 games, but that isn't what they are about.

GameStop is where I got those prices, used. I wish they were priced at what you said. As far as story, can I just read a synopsis??

You could, but you would be missing out on a lot of the smaller things that happen.

I expect ME3 to have all of those things except free-roaming. Aside from some vehicular exploration of unexplored planets in Mass Effect 1, the ME series doesn't have anything in the way of freeroam play. If you get it expecting that, you will be disappointed. It is primarily limited to linear mission areas.
