Sims 3: Werewolves

My point still stands in that the TS3 vampires a lot closer to the modern depiction of vampires instead of TS2's classical depiction.
Yeah, but not all modern depictions of vampires are bad. Our only problem is that their taking inspiration from shows like True Blood, rather than the tzimisce, or some other sort of amoral monster vampire.

Ah. I never really played TS1 much. By the time I started playing TS1 TS2 was already about to be released.
I owned TS1 even before the very first expansion pack came out, so I have a lot of nostalgia for the game and its music. :P

Quick, everyone, put on your nostalgia goggles, we're going to take a trip into our childhood! Ooohh!

TS1 was the game you played, you're four years older than I, and TS2 came out four years after TS1, so it seems that we started playing them at around the same age.

I like The Sims2 better. Unlike The Sims3 I can build neighbourhoods from a clean slate. Like one other poster typed, I spent a lot of time with The Sims2. Been through two PC's and three hard disk drives with that game. For I, I have lot more freedom and use cheats for building collage dooms.

I have not played that game for ages because of other games.

One of the reasons why I don't play Sims 2 anymore are the werewolves.. They were highly horrible compare to they should be, if you ask me..

I don't play Sims 3.. Actually, I uninstall all my current Sims Games I have and gave Sims 3 (Xbox 360 version) to me friend. The Sims was fun and all but not my thing anymore... But I do want to try out Sims Medieval..

Back to topic.. I think they shouldn't add Werewolves cause they are no good.. They need bring back Dragons! I love having pet dragons back in the original Sims game cause you actually needed to take care of them.. or else they'll be mad, and that is not a good thing!

Having dragons would be cool, if they are not big. I think they should add werewolves just change the way they look, and make some pre-made sims that are werewolves rather than have no werewolf sims and just the leader of the pack.

Dragons are cool to have.. Sometimes I miss playing the first Sims with Makin' Magic cause of that. I would love to see Dragons return in Sims 3 and yeah. If they remake Werewolves then I wouldn't mind them.

How big were the dragons in the first Sims? And on werewolves as long as they do not look like hairy people, and they have somewhat of a half-man, half-wolf appearance I will be happy.

I've read on a few Sims fan sites that the next big expansion for The Sims 3 will be a supernatural-themed one, in which werewolves (and aliens, among other things) will be returning. Although it's not been officially confirmed by EA yet, some savvy Sims modders had uncovered some spoilers in regards to this from some code in a recent patch for Showtime...

Tim (aka the Slipperman)

I don't think they found evidence of aliens in the next EP, but evidence of werewolves, witches, zombies and fairies were found along with alchemy, bee-keeping and candle-making. It seems as though the next EP is going to be magic related.

(All these things were found in one of the recently released patches to Showtime.)

I hope you're all happy. You made me put up with the 15 minute load times to go play Sims 2 for half an hour. :P

The Werewolf sim I have. The whole town has about 120 playable families across multiple districts. It can be a pain hunting down a certain sim if you have been away from the game for a while.

I normally remember where my sim is because I like to have my sims live downtown. What would you change about werewolves if they bring them back?

I'd let them satisfy their hunger need by killing young advlt, advlt, and elder sims.

Makes sense considering sims are known to be able to kill each other... Were you being serious? It is an okay Idea, but I think it should be more of a fight type of thing where while in the fight you bit them, and then the sim attacked says something along the lines of I think he/she bit me, EA would never let sims be able to kill each other.

I have all the expansions and stuff packs. The town I use is a mod that adds every single family from them and all the other towns plus the ones in the bin.

As for WWv3 I think it would be a hoot if they ate cats and other small animals while transformed.

That sounds really cool, how big is the town, and what does it look like?
That does svck for you though trying to find your werewolf sim in a huge town like that.

Any evidence of this, or is it just rumors?

TS2 runs really fast on my modern PC (I managed to find the discs to some of the EPs) loading up neighborhoods takes no longer than thirty seconds, and loading up a household less than that.

By the way, I can't believe that TS2 is eight years old now... I feel old.

That is the truth I feel so old now too, it felt like yesterday I was buying Sims 2 Nightlife. Sims 2 did run fast on my computer, which is a 2009 computer, and now it is not as fast anymore and the game lags.
If you type in Sims 3 supernatural expansion, then you should be able see some of the information on that stuff.

http://meetme2theriver.livejournal.com/36433.htmlThe "main" part of the town was fairly bare with plenty of room to expand. I added all the ones that were in the bin to the main part of the city plus a bunch of monster sims. Then you have the colleges, and downtown sections which is pretty much standard stuff. The Shopping Districts have each of the towns shopping districts then each town from the main game and every ep are there as well. For extra good measure there are vacation towns added as well.

From the site description:
Belladonna Cove with Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville, Riverblossom Hills, Desiderata Valley and Bluewater Village as shopping districts. Has all "stealth hood" (bin) families. Has all three universities and Downtown attached, as well as Tara Kat in Pleasantview and the Kim family in Bluewater Village. Contains every single playable sim from every EP. 593 character files. Roughly 333MB .RAR file.

I wish mine ran that fast. The load times can be atrocious with all the EPs and Custom Content. Once it's all loaded though it runs like a champ. Eight years already? Time goes by quick anymore.

I had/have every single TS2 EP and SP except for Mansions & Gardens Stuff. If I do end up playing TS2 again I'll probably be annoyed that MGS is the only thing that I'll have missing from my collection.

That sounds really cool, I hope they add something like that to Sims 3 since it is an open neighborhood. It is surprising how fast time goes by.
