Well I thought I was going to have to move - but it looks like our big meeting was moved to Monday so I think I am going to just take the day off.

I have a work holiday on Friday, so I am good to play.

You youngsters should focus on school always. Hot and noisy vocations await those who do not pay attention and learn.

Nope, but if I would have a longer day I probably would skip school, but it's only from 8.15 to 11.30

If you need to call in to work just tell them you have anol glaucoma. "I can't see my ass coming in today."

Or you can call in well. "I just feel to good to work today."

Will attend school, since it'll make the experience so much more exiting. Will feel like you actually get more of a reward. Will finish school at around 4pm, so I'll play at around 5pm.

We will have a generation of illiterates and idiots running our society in the next few decades, at least they will know everything there is about computer games.

Really sad how people decide to skip their responsibilites like this. The people born in the 80s and 90s are truly lost generations.

go troll elsewhere. it's not skipping responsibility if someone uses PTO they have earned to take a day or three off of work. How is it any different than taking time off to go on some vacation to the beach?

Really? You think skipping one day of school here and there means you will end up illiterate?
I skipped the odd day here and there - still ended up with a degree and I'm in a job I like which allows me 6 weeks paid annual leave (some of which I'll be using to play video games :P).

I'd planned for and requested a week of vacation, but that's gradually been whittled down to just Monday. Oh well, I'll enjoy taking my first playthrough nice and slow.

I'm talking about the ones who purposefully call in sick to their school or work because a new computer game has been released. I bet in most cases it won't be the first time they do it and thus it creates a bad habit of missing out valuable learning or working time. And just because I don't agree with people doing it doesn't make me a troll so get your definitions right.

Dont work on Fridays so no need to skip work :)

I did use to hate it when i was timetabled on a Friday though a few years back - would spend all day waiting to get home to play - was even worse that i didnt start till half 9 so i could pick the game up before work - or if it had come a day early by post playing it then forcing myself to go to work.
