Skyrim gets boring to fast

Yeah. I'd rather live in a tundra for some reason.

Preferably one without an internet connection

1,749 hours...not bored yet!

Pretty sure if I combined my hours of play from the PS3 version with the 107 hours I have on the PC version, I'd get a disturbing sign that I really need to get out more. I already have enough of those signs.

Oblivion is known for having a bad leveling system. It might have been an attempt to make the system more simple, but it ended up being more complex than it should have been. Oblivion also might feel a bit bland if you are expecting the environment to be not Lord of the Rings-like. The devs even admitted they were really into the Lord of the Rings series when they were developing Oblivion. It has some pretty bad level scaling.

Other than that, the worst thing you can find that isn't just a problem you can ignore is the jarring invisible walls(this is more of a problem from how the game's world is not in an area that is enclosed by mountains or water) and maybe finding the Oblivion Gates repetitive.

If i get bored with Skyrim, i usually just don't play it for a while. I usually go back to oblivion or daggerfall or sometimes just play a whole new genre. Skyrim is a fairly-good RPG, but nothing compared to the freedom of Daggerfall.

Howabout getting some additional value out of the game by downloading the Creation Kit and starting to make some mods of your own? Making mods is a fun game in its own right, and much simpler than many people think!

In response to the title, fasting isn't supposed to be exciting. But, in all seriousness, not bored yet.

But it is that way.

In his opinion.

Just because you say "no" doesn't make it not true.

If you play any game for a large length of time and spend tons of time on just that game, it will get boring. Just play something else for a bit.
yep good advice i took a break on my game and role played here for a little on the forums and then went back to the game all refreshed and i missed it and its fun again...

I think the mistake a lot of people make is that they try to make one character and do everything with that one character. The game gets EXTREMELY boring after the low 40s, especially when you max out or really level up certain skills. Also people tend to always do certain quests and certain things EVERY time. Like the Civil War, or Dark Brotherhood. I don't think I've done the CW in like the past 5 characters.

OP, you are quite the same as me. I believe it could be the fact the all the weapons looks like Go-Go Power Ranger weapons for kids. It lacks... Realism. The redguard scimitar? Why not have the scimitars from Oblivion? There was so much content that was not added by Bethesda.
