Skyrim just arrived from parcelforce i ordered from Gameplay that makes every pre-order from there has come a day early. Time to go hammer skyrim

So far only paused that two times I have mentioned, and I am still at the first town doing one of the side quests.

I would imagine you would get a pauses from time to time, it does not matter to me personally but the 11 second pause one was noticeable but I would imagine rare.

Got it yesterday, already played 5 or 6 hours. That game is huge!! Btw while i was exploring a little, I noticed a big shadow on the ground. I looked up in the sky and saw a f****** dragon circling over me, and that scary noise it made.. Man I never experienced such an awesome thing in my whole life in a game

Just picked it up from my mailbox 10 minutes ago. Wasn't expecting it until tomorrow at noon, but hey, I'm not complaining!

Got mine this morning! Was amped! It's here! And then my xbox wont install it. *sigh* I'll just buy a-new-one and use this as a battering ram to vent my frustration.

About the slow menus - I've experienced this. But it's most occuring on the Save-Option.

Skyrim so far is awsome, the dragon battles are really epic! But I already got this anoying bug, I got in a fight with a archer and got hit by a few arrows and now they don′t come out (and I tried everything). I play on the PS3 but I heard that some people have the same problem on the xbox. Does anybody know how to solve this, or if a new patch will come out tomorrow to solve this?

I got it on Xbox yesterday, played it for 7 hours and have not noticed any bugs except for the infamous texture bug.

So I picked up skyrim this afternoon at 17.00. A mate of mine rang me to tell me that his mate was going to buy it and that it was released early (here in Australia it still being the 10th) so, being stunned, i gave EB (Gamestop for you US guys) a ring and lo and behold they told me it was ok to pick up my pre-order of skyrim on the 360 and PC (i got both) so shaking with anticipation i did.
I've been playing it since then and loving every second of it.

The PC version does not work as Steam is locked until midnight tonight so I am unable to install or play it until the actual 11th, so I played the xbox version instead. It looks amazing on the xbox. Also I've been reading the threads about the graphics glitch and low res textures and I played it off the disc for an hour, then cleared the cahe and most of my HDD and installed it on the HDD then played the game. Both times the low res textures/graphics glitch happened upon opening the inventory and closing it, so it appears those who said installing on the HDD did this are wrong, at least in my case anyway. This is probably due to, something which someone already stated, the fact the menu blurs everything in the background, and upon closing the menu some textures aren't reloading. I must admit this is bothering me a little and I hope Bethesda patch this soon, but to be completely honest, it hasn't detracted from my game experience at all and I'm absolutely loving everybit of everything, especially the visual and all the amazing little tweaks Bethesda have done.

Oh and apparently EB Games released it early because Harvey Norman (another non-game store) released it today and of course EB Games can't sit back as others go there now can they? So this worked out as a very happy surprise for me.

Oh and the Statue with the CE is stunning and great, the base not so much but you hardly notice, the artbook as well is amazing though I've yet to watch the special features dvd as playing the game take priority atm ^^

PS Thanks a lot bethesda, I've only just started playing Skyrim and I'm loving everything! This def tops oblivion and ranks right there next to morrowind, perhaps above but that'll have to wait until I get more into the game.

I just got my copy of Skyrim from game and i am just wondering if it is safe to play without getting banned from xbox live?

I got mine tuesday morning and played it immediately. No bans or whatever and wouldn't understand why

I love the game!!!! Bethesda really made it good with this one!
