Walk into a building, and in a very dark room there is a Chinese remnant soldier standing in a corner with his back to you in pool of blood. when you get within a certain distance of him, he falls backwards into you and you notice there is a sword stuck in his stomach. This triggers a bunch (like 5) living remnants to run at you with swords when you turn back around.

"Peer Pressure" You are out in the desert. You come across 4 people, you can't make out their faces but you can see that two of them have Vault 13 suits one has Midwestern brotherhood power armour with no helment the last is in vault 101 suit. They are sitting at table facing you. Each one of them takes their turns criticizing you, saying that you are nothing compared to them and you will fail in your mission. That you will never be a wasteland hero like them. After about 40 seconds they disappear.

If you have good or neutral Karma, they say you have to do alot better to be like them.
If you have bad Karma they really let you have it with the Criticism and Insults.

You're walking through an old dilapidated building in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly, you hear at least 2 dozen ghouls screaming and running at you from every hallway. The only path that won't get you killed is the one leading to the roof. You're hauling ass and soon you reach the roof.

In front of you is an active vertibird with a HUGE muscular man named Harold Swartzen wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses holding a gatling gun. He screams, "GET TO THE CHOPPA!" You run to the vertibird, which takes off with you in it. As you watch the feral ghouls pour onto the rooftop, they get cut down by the man. But then... the entire building explodes as you here a high pitched maniacal laughter.

The vertibird crashes, and not far from you is the body of what looks like a man, with skulls wrapped around its waist and an assortment of odd weaponry, such as a collapsible spear, very sinister armor and face-mask mask with an odd cloaking device that can be turned on and off. You walk away with the alien things gear, but in the distance is the huge man, half-burned. You realize he is a cyborg. And is never seen again.

"The Godfathers" You come across three well dress american italian men (mobsters/godfathers) sitting at a fancy table. All named Michael.

The First man says: "Barzini is dead. So is Phillip Tattallgia. Moe Green. Slacci. Cuneo. Today I settled all family business so don't tell me that you're innocent."

The Second Man: "There are many things my father taught me here in this room. He taught me: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."

The Third Man: "What's wrong with being a lawyer?"

Then they Disappear. You can't help but think to yourself that the Third man was not as good or as impressive as the first two.

"Clone High" you come across a "school" or lab with a class room in it. "Clone High" is secretly being run as an elaborate military experiment orchestrated by a government office called the Secret Board of Shadowy Figures. The school is entirely populated by clones of famous historical figures that have been created and raised with the intent of having their various strengths and abilities harnessed by the United States military. You explore it and talk with some of the clones. When you come back the Lab/school is destroyed just like the rest of the wasteland. No sign of any of the Clones.

I am just watching it on tv now... :P I don't know how this one would fit in, or if anyone knows what I am talking about here.

Cut Me Own Throat

You come across a Wasteland Trader called Claude Maximillian Overton Transpire Dibbler selling all kinds of 'edible' meat products and components for homemade weapons...very cheap...'I'll sell it for less, and that's cutting me own throat.'

Divine Intervention: If your character has Very Good karma and is at low health, crippled, and out of stimpacks, a shining light comes down from the sky and heals your character and restores his gear a certain amount. A variation of this could affect enemies that are in pursuit.

Treasure Hunt: A rainbow appears in the distance. If you follow it you can find a large stash of money at it's end but it is almost impossible to reach before vanishing. A variation of this could have a leprechaun boss.

The Ownage in the Stone: You come across a large boulder with a magnificent sword protruding from it, the equivalent of a melee Firelance. A certain strength requirement must be passed to acquire it as it is destined to be wielded by only true Melee warriors, or King Arthur.

Man, I think I give up, my ideas svck...

Unforseen Consequences: As you're wandering the wasteland, a man in an orange and black chemical suit with the letter Lambda on the front appears within an explosive rift. He takes two steps and collapses dead... leaving you free to loot his crowbar and suit. However, the moment you take the suit off of him, he gets pulled back in through the rift and it closes... ensuring that you never see his face.

The Welcoming Committee: Just outside of a town, three kids are standing outside nearby a makeshift fort. As soon as you approach, they begin arguing over who gets to welcome you, and how to make an introduction. During the course of this fight, various quotes from previous Fallout titles and other such things will be spouted off. They never do actually get around to welcoming you...

I Know I've Seen This Somewhere Before: While you're traveling along, you come across an eight-foot tall monstrosity in a unique suit of white and blue Power Armor. If you approach him, he identifies himself as a 'Retired Secret Service agent'. If you talk to him, you can ask questions about him... about his armor... about why he's out in the desert. When asked about the armor, he explains that there has never been another suit like it... and that the only reason -he- got it, was because the previous wearer screwed up so badly that his OWN MEN helped to kill him. Perhaps if the player meets some certain requirements, he can be convinced to take up the role of 'follower'.

The King of Rocks: This particular Elvis Impersonator suffers from a case of 'Sun-Baked Brain'. He has declared himself Lord and Master over one half of a rickety old rope-bridge... hurling rocks at anyone who attempts to cross and threatening to cut the supports. If anyone gets to the middle of the bridge, he cuts the ropes, and they plummet to the bottom of the ravine. The solutions are to either talk him into surrendering, killing him, or finding another way around the chasm.

Trust me, you do not want a random encounter with a banhammer-packing moderator.

 I thought that was funny.

I like the idea of what Gary said earlier, an execution. I will think of my own throughout the day.

A group of pre-war dead CSIs with sum medical pick-ups.

A group of Raiders wheeling a Vault Door across the desert.

Or a Vault door in the middle of the desert with a vault dweller lying beneath it crushed.

May have been mentioned already, Brahmins being abducted by a UFO.

If this WAS said already... I think it bears being said again!

This would be hillarious. No alien blaster or super secret weapon here. You're just wandering along at night... and you see this field of Brahmin... and alluvasudden this beam of light from the sky just... lifts one away... and then when you look up, there's a bright flash and its gone.

Also I would like some WW2 guns and uniforms

Walking through the desert you see a whole troop of Caesers legion, say 50 or so in the distance. Just as you start to fill your pants with worry the sand beneath them opens up and they are swallowed by an enormous sandworm.

Seriously? Nazis? Not only wouldn't it fit...it would probably get the Game banned in Germany...this is not CoD or MoH...no Nazis in Fallout, please.

Germany only censores gore. I guess we are actually a lil bit relaxed over that topic, and Adolf was austrian anyway.

Ontopic: Why would a nazi bunker be in the united states? They can save stuff like that for a game set in the european commonwealth (if there will be one in the future)

"The Horror!" You are walking through a Dark subway tunnel, you notice human shaped burn marks on all over the walls with skeletons under them. They are all crouching or huddling. As you get closer there is a flash. Then the ghosts of the people start walking through the walls and coming through the floors. They look peaceful at first but then they become like banshees and attack you. You Huddle to protect yourself, close your eyes, open and they are gone!

Optional side bit, you notice your hair is now snow white form the scare. Your hair may not change if you have very bad karma because you are evil and nothing really scares you.

"Merry-Go-Round" You come across an playground with broken swings and an old merry-go-round slowly rotating. You hear children slowly singing:

"Ring around the rosie,
A pocket full of posies,
Ashes! Ashes!
We all fall down!"

As you get closer you notice there are human bones all around the merry-go-round. If it happens at night you see the ghosts of the children playing and singing it.

Lasts till they are done the song.

in a world where super mutants are trying to kill you, zombies (ghouls) are screaming and running at you and there are two-headed cows - i don't think your character would be scared of ghosts. at least not to the effect of what you mentioned.

True but ghosts are part of fallout. There is a ghost girl in the Den in fallout 2. There are Quests around it.
your character could be a weak cry baby. It all about how you make your character :P.

Besides they are just ideas. I have 30 on here maybe more to come, not all can be gold :P

Fallout 2 intro "Humanity was almost extinguished, their "sprites" becoming part of the back ground radiation that blanketed the earth." I just like that line.

The 'Real' Whorlblitzer: You stumble across an overturned truck which has lain abandoned in the desert for quite some time. As you approach, the sound of muffled music fills your ears. Amongst the wreckage left behind of the truck's contents, you find several corpses. The object of their attention prior to death was a half-buried jukebox... an authentic 'Whorlblitzer' in near-perfect condition... preserved by the sand until now. The moment you get within range to activate it, a merc in combat armor shows up behind you and tells you to either get lost, or die. If you stand and fight him, you can keep the Jukebox and place it anywhere you please in-game. If you leave, it is gone when you next come by. An optional speech challenge would allow you to convince the merc to bribe you... in order to avoid any violence.

Not sleet, nor snow, nor Nuclear Winter: As you travel across the wasteland, you find yourself approaching a very tired looking ghoul with a mail bag slung over his shoulder. If you approach him, he'll let you know that he hasn't gotten any letters for you. If you draw your weapon, he will warn you that he is a skilled marksman and authorized to use 'deadly force' by the United States Postal Service. If you don't holster your weapon, he becomes hostile and will attack you. If you kill him, you get his uniform and mail bag... as well as a number of unique 'Pre-War Letters'.
