What kind of special random encounters would you like to see.Can't have been used in the other fallout game's.

No, it was a random in encounter in FO1 with a British telephone booth that was suppose to be Dr. Who's.

The idea is be close enough that ingame players can recognize the reference and get an aha moment, but not so close that the company is sued.

A random wormhole/portal that opens up for only a 30-50 seconds time or so then closes and disappears. If you go inside it you get transported to another dimension, plane and realm with cool creature enemies and valuable loot. Even things like rare vegetation that can be sold, or just cool sights. No green space men though, none of that.

How about an encounter with a creepy human child and her supermutant father kinda Bioshockish?

random teleporter, take you to different places?

A Vertibird that flies over The Strip and drops down mininukes, bombing everything in the area (similar to the Enclave Vertibird encounter that drops mininukes on the area). The Vertibird eventually gets shot down and crashes into a building, inflicting massive damage into it. The only survivor of the crash gets out of the Vertibird with a minigun and he is...Elvis.

Rare encounter with the granddaughter of the Madam of the Cat's Paw, she now has a printshop up and running is looking for people to distribute The Cat's Paw magazine and to sign up new subscribers. Everyone you met after this, you get to have the dialogue option to get them to buy a subscription.

Since The Strip is the Caesar's Legion's base, action is involved. The Vertibird is surrounded by members of the Caesar's Legion in gold armor and they armed with AK-47s. "Put down your weapon!" One of them says to Elvis. Elvis refuses and shoots down some of them with the Minigun he has. He takes the pistol from the dead pilots holster and shoots the engines of the vertibird. The Vertibird catches on fire so he flees towards a window and jumps out of it, unfortunately he gets shot in the back by one of the members of Caesar's Legion. He falls to the ground breaking his limbs, his face smashed in. The Vertibird explodes killing all the soldiers in the building and rubble flies everywhere. Then appearing from the smoke...A Caesar's Legion officer comes towards him with a Desert Eagle, along with four heavily armored members. They take Elvis and tie him onto a poll. The officer tries to see if he has a mask on and notices he does and yanks it off. And the man under the mask...GARRRRRYYYYYYYYYY! The officer loads his pistols and put's a bullet in Gary's brain. Thinking he's dead, they leave him there only to have him escape.
