Stop spreading negativity - it's the drivers, not the game.

The PS3 has been getting texture streaming lag as well, turning the camera fast will leave you with blurry textures. Even with madadtory 8gig install. This game's engine has some issues fundamentally. Don't lump the blame on consoles like you PC Elitist always do.

Way to stereotype. With that said, the issues us "PC" users are having are quite severe. Most of us can't even play the game. After spending $60 bucks you expect what you bought to work. Instead what we got was a game that runs like an Indie alpha test, instead of an actual release version. Sure both console and PC versions of the games have a lot of issues. No need to stereotype PC gamers tho.

Sorry then.

Do you live under some form of rock? There's been a patch from AMD, the game is perfectly fine, it was a driver problem. Relax and play the game, it runs exactly as it should now.
The driver patch you're talking about doesn't work for most of the people who use it.

Pretty much. That driver patch didn't much. The game is still unplayable.

This is an OPENGL game , not a directX one , There is probably no complexer or bigger openGL software as big as this game and the GPUs weren't prepared for it obviously.

is that so? Can I delete the DirectX folder in the Rage directory then? Can I run it in linux too?!

The negativity being spread about these errors is uncalled for. The negativity about how little time/energy went into developing a PC version of this game is well deserved. I am really surprised that it doesn't prompt me to open my inventory by pressing triangle.

This game doesn't have anything "extra" that it was supposed to for the PC release. Promised mod developer tools, undelivered. Promised greater graphics settings and capabilities, undelivered.

I want you to know that I have ZERO performance issues playing this game but I completely stand behind those that do. I only get to use one of my two GPU's but im well over 40fps on one screen. This release was way too early and it is unfortunate that it could not be pushed back further now because the ratings have tanked for these simple mistakes.

Does anyone else have a problem where the game automatically resets its priority to low as soon as the intro video ends?

Hi

@Stewox: Ur are so right. Driver Prob

And since it seems to be a console-to-pc-port its definitely not-LAA ;)

I want to thank u all for participating in the open-beta. :)
The game will be released on 10-7-2011.
This is not fair....i want to play too....maybe i would be lucky and it would run.
...u don`t know how lucky u are ...maybe u have found the authority allready ...:(
i can only watch the vids on rage.com ...this is sooo degrading
i wanna play beta too...would even pay ...like 25gbp...to play or to wait for a fix.
Wth...its been 7 years and u can "test" it 3(4?) days earlier...hate u

It doesn't matter what or who is at fault - ultimately it is id and Bethesda who delivered a product that isn't working, and they are the ones who will take the flack for it.

Trying to shift the blame, even if it is deserved, will not make them look any better.
