For those of you who haven't had Subway, you're not missing much. It's mediocre wrapped around pedestrian and bland. A shoe has better flavor and texture.

I either go for a veggie sub with everything on it, outside of onion, or I go for the chicken teriyaki with cucumber, lettuce, and tomato, with a little of the sweet onion sauce.

Meatball Marinara (I hate it toasted so never go that route) with cheddar or american (depending on where I am when I get it), parmesan, and bucketloads of lettuce. Certainly not the best for calories but it's not that unhealthy either.

Keep your Subway sandwich, I'll stick with my Panera Bread.

You can keep that, I have a Tony's Subs. It annihilates what Panera Bread can do

I haven't eaten at Subway in years, I prefer Mr Goodcents or a local independent sub shop.

At Mr Goodcents I usually get a half meatball on white with mozzarella.
At the independent place I get a ten inch smoked turkey with pepperjack cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions, and banana peppers with ranch dressing. Sometimes I get bacon too. The best part about this place is that the girls who work there at night are hot. ;)

I usually have Peperoni, Salami and ham. I wish they would do Chorizo as well, I love Chorizo. This usually followed by Lettuce, Gerkins, Onions, Peppers and Chipolte Southwest (The greatest sauce ever created)

I had a friend in college who worked at subway, and on a quiet day he made sub with everything, the only thing he couldn't put on it where the veggie patties and meatballs. This eventually came to about £15. He usually got a free sub from the menu for his lunch, in this instance his manager took it from his pay.

Well the only chipotle I've ever had was a chipotle enchilada sauce. It seems like it's just a smoked tomato and pepper sauce (like blended up salsa). Sort of the same way barbeque sauce has that smoked flavor.

Subway specifically?

Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki
- Herbs and Cheese Bread
- Provolone Cheese
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Sweet Peppers
- Banana Peppers

Standard Italian or any Meaty Sub
- Herbs and Cheese Bread
- Provolone Cheese
- Let
- Tom
- Sweet Peppers (a little)
- Salt/Pepper/Oregano
- Then either a ltitle oil and a little mayo or the chipotle mayo, depending on how saucy I'm feeling that day

I had Subway late last year for the first time in maybe half a dozen years. Then I remembered why it had been half a dozen years. It's an abomination.

I always imagined it to be sweet, a bit like birthday cake icing but more creamy.

I admit I'm confused with the people who have such strong negative views on Subway.

Its just a bloody sandwich.

I couldn't afford to eat their overpriced sandwiches anyway. Come to think of it I don't really eat bread very often either.

Can't even afford bread up North... Tragic. :P

No idea. I only ever visit there like twice a year or something. I do know I never put olives, garlic, leek, lettuce, onions and such in there. Tasted bad. I like it plain and simple with only a select few vegetables, combined with some ham/meat and cheese.
