yours is like.. a step up from mine. So if mine can at "medium low to low" settings, then you can for sure.

Your CPU is pretty outdated but on top of that for video games I recommend at least 2g of VRAM on your video card. If you can afford it get a 4g vRAM card. Trust me, that 4g vRAM comes in REAAAAAAALLLLLLL handy. And before anyone says it, yes, there are games that will make use of that much. I've actually almost hit 4gigs of vRAM use on my Skyrim game. Now as to this MMo, 2 gigs of vRAM should do you fine but that 1gig card you got, it's gotta go. As to the CPU, come on man, cough up some dough and at least, I mean at the very least get an i7-2600k, they cost about 200 bucks and offer amazing performance at an economy price. Unfortunately if you do that you'll need a new mobo and ram sticks cause as far as I know the i7-2600k needs an LGA 1155 mount and they all use DDR3. It's definately an affordable route to take though for a fairly good gaming rig that would blow the current one you have out the water.

Don't bother with this reply, he's confusing ram with vram. If you're running a 1080p monitor you WON'T need anymore than 1.5-2g of vram. I don't hit 4g of Vram in Skyrim with 100 mods and three displays....

@TheLaw - I'm not confusing anything. I'm stepping out to go back to play a game but my advice is don't ask here. Go to Toms Hardware and ask on their forums. Trust me, those guys are accredited and they'll shoot you in the right direction. More vRAM equals better handling of higher resolution and a crap ton more eye candy with increased capabilities for running AA and AF, all of which are majorly requiring of vRAM.

Aye.... Alienware is a big big waste of money. So much markup on those things just for the name. And the name's pretty tarnished these days to boot.

Lol you'll have to forgive us, as asking if a Core i7 3600 with 12 gigs of ram is sufficient for this game is kinda sarcasm bait.. ;)

Err, yes, it'll be more than adequate. By a lot.

Alienware is totally overpriced and not worth it in my opinion; and the Intel/nvidia vs AMD is purely preference and opinion, don't let anybody tell you otherwise and do your own research :P

Edited for clarity!

It is preference, but because both of those guys hold greater market share, games are generally made in cooperation with them as the game is developed (so on release the nvidia/intel combo can cause less issues).

just buy a PC with i5/i7 quadcore, 4gb+ram a decent video card and 3+ghz.
oh and windows 7 dont got for windows 8!!!!

a pc/laptop like that really isnt expensive at all and it should work like a charm as long as the video card is alright.

the most important part: don't forget about a mouse and a keyboard. a monitor would also be an advantage if you have one.

If you want to get a new PC, I would personally recommend
I5 3570k, AMD's are priced better but performance is worse for single cores (in general for gaming) and as most games either A. Don't use hyperthreading or B. Don't use it efficently, there is no reason to go up to an i7/eight core AMD.
As for graphics a minimum of a 660ti/670 or 7950 should let you play most games on very high settings for the next year or two. (660ti will generally beat the 7950 in games made for an nvidia card, most others the 7950 goes beyond it quite a ways especially at higher than 1080p. Nvidia games also have Physx which personally I do not care about as it is not common but it may become so in a few years)
Solid State Drive is optional of course, having 6 seconds reboot times is fun and can help in some games (dear god do not constantly install and delete games on the SSD or it's life will go down quicker than you would like)

These are of course my opinions based on what I have read and or done during my time of making my own PC at thanksgiving. (Which probably would have been a better time for you to make yours lots of PC parts go on sale thanksigving/christmas time)

If you aren't geeky enough or know enough geeks to build it yourself I'd recommend going to newegg.com. There are a lot of nice gaming computers from iBUYPOWER. I have one myself that's an upper mid range gaming PC. It plays everything nicely and I spent about $1000 for it about a year and a half ago.

From all the different videos we've been shown, what do you guys predict the minimum requirements for ESO will most likely be?

I have a horrible radeon hd 4250 graphics card.. Do you guys that'll be able to squeeze in for an mmo.

They want it to run on 5 year old machines, that is all we know. I would expect that if you can play Skyrim you can play TESO.

some say that it would have bigger/equal requirements as Guild Wars 2. So I guess you could compare it with that over here: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

Well I can play gw2 on medium, so I'm hoping I can play Eso. I'm going to try to upgrade my card before Eso release tho. A 200 man battle is going to push my comp to its limits. :)

If you want to build a computer,

GPU $450: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125439
CPU $200: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113284
PSU $90: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020
Case $120: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139010
RAM $61: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233184
HD $80: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840
Motherboard $190: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128545
Optical Drive $16: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151256

TOTAL: $1207

You can easily lower the budget by getting a less expensive GPU/Case/RAM, but if you want the "Best Gaming PC" you must go with this setup or similar.

This is going to be a pretty high end system, but it is a good guide.

I have a system I purchased a few years back and its an Intel corei5 with 16GB ram and an older nvidia display card. About the only thing I plan to uprade for ESO is the display card...other then that this system should be fine for ESO for quite a few years.
