The amazing spiderman, plus after credit scene... (merged to

I doubt there will be any tie to red skull/anything avengers related because of different rights ownership.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie.

The end credits scene was stupid and disappointing. Also, I find it perplexing how people seem to think it must be someone who can teleport or turn to mist or something. I don't know if you guys watched the same movie I did, but the dude just stepped in and out of a shadow - it doesn't take any magic powers to do that. I'd say it's almost certainly Norman Osborne.
It's not Osborne it's been officially stated that it isn't him.

I'm still liking the possible Red Skull despite the ownership thing (Which they are trying to resolve, i've heard they want a Spiderman cameo in the next avengers film.)
Glad I'm not the only one who thought that, though it does seem less likely to me now. It was made pretty clear in the movie that Norman Osborn is terminally ill while the events of The Amazing Spiderman take place, so for him to show up apparently hale and hearty in prison seems very strange.

One one hand it would be awesome if it were Morbius (he's a vampire, and not the lame sparkly kind either), but it also wouldn't make any sense at all. The most likely explanation imo is that Curt Connors is talking to himself. That would imply that the serum only temporarily suppressed, but didn't cure his Lizard mutation, so he can make an awesome comeback in the inevitable sequel (perhaps joining with Spiderman against whatever bad guy they pick then).
I also like the idea of it being Morbius. I'm certain (kinda, almost) in the 90's cartoon he becomes like his mixing spidey's blood with a bat and then getting bit by it.

Skoomaholics,

That's how Morbius became Morbius. He mixed Vampire bat blood with his own as well as electro-shock therapy in an attempt to cure a blood disease he had. It obviously failed and he somehow became a Vampire. In fact, he's human and alive but with traits of being a vampire.

He was an enemy by misunderstanding of Spider-Man and yes, Spidey and Lizzard did team up to defeat him. But, Morbius is actually one of the good guys and is part of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I've not seen the new Spider-Man movie as of yet, but I'm going to.

I'd think you'd have a better chance at seeing Morbius show up in the next Ghost Rider movie since I believe they were enemies.

I saw the ASM yeasterday. I think it was better thant he first one, course I'm biased vs. the first one as TM svcks ass as an actor.

The overall story was much better writen and the actors actually acted. Always a big plus.

And Emma Stone is way hotter than Kirsten Dunst.

And don't you act like that isn't important! :P
