Salvation cannot come from one ??? alone, but from many?

Sounds like he is saying Era, not Hero. Maybe it's somesort of temporal hopping deal where you will visit multiple points in the TES timeline?

Is it Era or Hero?

Heh.
As long as it has no affect on the single player game production, have at it.

One thing is going to be interesting to watch; what effect being a TES lore nerd will have on gameplay.

It is a pity that it isn't set oh, 800 or so years later, at the end of the 2nd age. We'd have a chance to meet a very young and totally hot Barenziah, wouldn;t we....?

After those images were leaked, it would be nice to see a gameplay trailer along with the announcement one. Same thing with Dawnguard, companies need to plan their marketing around the fact internet leaks will happen and people already known more than what is planned for a month or two. Underwhelming.

I see mediocre textures and some badly anti aliased edges. The biggest graphical problems i remember from the hero engine! Is this ingame footage?

Can someone explain to me who greenlit this and why? Why would anyone at Bethesda Softworks approve this?

TES Online has nothing to do with any TES game! It perverts everything the games stand for just to try and make a cashcow out of it ala WoW!

I hope in the future people don't associate this with TES.

More like generic fantasy MMO clone WoW game.

I didn't even hear the 'theme' until I listened REAL closely.

It feels watered down. I hope that's not indicative of the rest of the game as well.

Saw some screenshots on the ES online facebook page, just looks like every other MMO. At least they are keeping some of the aesthetics of ES though. (although it looks more like Drakensang single player than ES, especially the pic of the vendor)

Two things:

It's not a trailer, it's a teaser.

It addresses the lore concerns I've seen raised here, about certain groups being allies - at least ZOS acknowledges that 'unlikely allies' are forming allegiances.

Take a look at those textures. They are already as low as the textures of SW:ToR at release. >( And this are press release photos. The. Best. They. Have.

I cannot exactly put my finger on it, but from everything I've seen about TESO, it feels very... Game of Throne-ish. Especially the teaser.

Also don't be overly dramatic, this is not the end of old TES. On the contrary, I think it may even benefit. :nod:
