I liked the old one better. The new one's too narrow and I liked being able to see how many people were viewing the forums. Other than that, I can probably get used to it.

I'll just wait for one of the smart members to make a new skin.

What happened to my avatar's feet, and the top of his hair?! Why isn't he transparent anymore? What's going on? :ahhh:

I'm still getting used to it but I like the mouseover feature. I'd like to suggest a change to the titles designated as you reach post count levels to something more gender-neutral please. If I should live long enough to receive 5 stars, and since I'm female, I do not want to be a Patriarch. I noticed a couple of other women here are designated Patriarch so please, can there be a more appropriate level title? Thanks! :smile:

It's fine. Just a few minor tweaks would be nice like a bigger font size. I guess I could just do "ctrl +" though.

The mods looked at this new set up a short while back. I am going to give it a while to get used to it before I jump to conclusions and start pulling it to pieces or praising it.

The idea of sending any password, no matter how unimportant from a security standpoint, in cleartext was something that never sat right with me, so I never did use it.

What's the missing thing?

I was hoping against hope that we wouldn't update to the horrific uncoordinated mess that is modern IPB. This isn't *quite* that bad, but not by much :confused:

I understand that Beth needs to keep current for security and stuff, I just wish IPB somehow made these features modular or something.

I am going to give it a while to get used to it before I jump to conclusions and start pulling it to pieces or praising it.

I've used it on two other forums, so I can safely say that this is probably the worst function on any forums yet.

You could try holding down the 'ctrl' button and using your mouse wheel and press 'ctrl 0' to reset.

It looks much different. I'm not sure if it's better than before, but it does look a little better than before.

EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT THEREFORE IT svckS.

Now that I have that out of the way, new update is not bad. There are some issues that others have mentioned (like the font, really highlighted edit notes, and the fact I can no longer discrimanate against people based on their join dates

) but I'm really enjoying the increased performance.

All the sites I visit keep changing though. First the Escapist, now BGSF? At least I like this update better than the last one here I suppose.

Fyi, you can post from your mobile, there's an appropriate skin. However, it's very sluggish, unless it's my mobile.
