NOOOOOOO, I just realized they got rid of the filter options at the bottom of each board. That was the fastest and simplest way to find threads you responded to and whatnot. Whhhhhy?

I'm not just saying this because I'm slow to adapt to change, but I strongly dislike this new board. The old style functioned just fine. Now the bloody forum is squashed between two unnecessarily HUGE useless stripes, the text is giving me eyestrain and I just don't like it. We really need an option to select whether we want to use the old version or this one.

Don't you use fast reply? That's at the bottom and makes life so much easier.

I don't like it because

1) Now I need to re-edit my long-unchanged signature
2) No join dates
3) Changing something that wasn't broken
4) ..into something that's arguably worse, or at least not an improvement.

Good find. Now to figure out to display more than 20 posts per page and I will be set.

But is more convenient if the join date is visible rather then hover every person's avatar.

I don't like change. Or giant margins.

On the top bar where your username is open the little menu and click "content I follow" and it shows all the topics you've replied to.

Agree with both of them. Although quoting these two posts was much easier then before..

Why nit keep both, there is plenty of air space going to waste under the Avatars?

filters allowed you to see threads you created, threads you responded to, closed thread, threads only within a certain time frame, new threads only, unread threads, and quite a few other things. I used it instead of searching because it was oftentimes more reliable and faster.

Quite nice actually. I like, in topics at least, that there is space on the sides. It's not a lot but it makes the forum look a bit prettier. The skin just looks a bit more classy. I like the avatars on the far right of threads when viewing CD showing who posted last, how threads with new posts look, and the gorgeous profile pages.

I dislike the borders around the avatars, the box within a box within a box style (that's one too many boxes), the "PINNED"/"POLL" green color, the lack of an active members list, and no icon to show the topics I've posted in.

And only having "Jump to page X", "Next page", and "Go to last page" when viewing a board is lame. Quick Navigation is pretty cool though I'm not sure if the old skin had it or not. Still dislike posts displaying that they've been edited but the old skins had that too. I like on other forums that if you edit the post pretty soon after posting it, no "This post has been edited" shows up. If you edit it after awhile then it shows up.

Edit: Woah, blue links... gross.

Edit 2: You can ignore signatures. Kinda cool I guess though I won't use it.

@Defron: There are filters they're just right above the first pinned topic now. No icons to show topics you've posted in though.

It's not possible. It would be nice if they left it possible but alas, it seems they have not.

Simplistic and works well.

Sometimes simple is better and this is one of those times. The other one moved way to slow for me when I scrolled down and I HATED the top title piece following me when I scroll. That was an awful idea.

I feel so alone. There's no one else watching this thread...or I can't see it.

I REEEEEEEEEEEEAAAALLLLY wish there was. This new board is a headache. FFS why change it if it aint broke. I'm not saying they should massively rehaul the system to how those of us who dont like warrior liked the old one, but at least give us the OPTION, this new theme is terrible -___-

ok, this is neat. Gonna take a bit to get used to, but it's cool. The font looks different, slightly larger. I like the new emoticon menu, as well.

Uh oh, I just noticed something.

Before the update, there was a little menu that let you search for threads you replied to/ started/ etc.. I don't see that anymore.

If I didn't know any better I'd think that this thread was just a copy-paste of a similar thread which popped up after the IP Board 3 update.

It's just part of Bethesda's continued quest to make the forums completely illegible. It was bad during the IP Board 3 update and it's worse now. Total illegibility coming to a forum near you by 2013, at this rate!
