Lariah the Tested is a Redguard who saw something special fell into hard lust with Ulfric in the wagon. (Yeah, I know. I tried to come up with a unique story but really, what else is there? "Ugh, my head. Wait - where am I? Where are we going? What is -- Woah! That is a MAN! OMG. THAT is Ulfric Stormcloak?? Holy-- Okay, I know what I'll be doing just as soon as I work on my mad fighting skillz. Sweeeet!" Yeah.)

We've all been there. Well, my character spent a few weeks in denial though - "I can't be in love with Ulfric Stormcloak, what am I thinking, he's a hero, it's just too embarrassing, blah blah blah". Then she realized he was constantly checking her out and giving her little hints about wanting her "close at hand" and such - or, rather, this was when she had Annekke as her follower, so I just RPd Annekke trying really hard not to laugh since it was kinda obvious to everyone else what was going on there. "So he wants his warriors close at hand, huh? Please. I know what parts of you he wants close at hand, judging by the way he was checking you out!" "What? No, I'm not, no, we're not..." "Yeah, right."

I just happened to think about the cart ride today, I mean, you're unconscious, right? You're slumped over, right? But what are you slumped over on? Who's that sitting right next to you?

You know, that thought hit me, too. :D

Nice... really shows off the green eyes, which are often hard to see when playing. I wouldn't even know he had green eyes if I hadn't seen it in the CK.

I must confess I thought they were kind of hazel brown. That's what they look like when he's in his throne, which is probably the best lighting you normally get to see him in (if you stand right in front of him, making him look up at you). On the other hand, when I created that daughter of his I checked his colors too, so I should have gotten them right with her - I've noticed that there's very hard to tell the difference between some of the eye colors in Character Creation, though, even if you set the screen to brightest (and I think I made that face before I figured out that little trick).

Well I have no clue how to do that. Yet. But it's worth looking into. I don't know if it's something I could figure out how to do and then add into the Ulfric mod I'm already using... which will let me put him in "relax" mode if he's following me, in which case he'll just sandbox around whatever cell he's in. But I'd love to make him do other stuff as a part of his regular schedule. Like, you know, EAT, which he never seems to do. I don't know, though, there are so many scripted things that happen when you first go to Windhelm and enter the Palace, his conversations with Galmar about the war... I don't know if having him leave the Palace at a certain time would screw that up if you happened to wander in there at a time when a scripted convo would normally happen, only he's not there because he's in the Temple having some quiet time with the Lord.

On the other hand, before you join the 'Cloaks, every time you walk into the Palace, there's that scripted conversation with Galmar (on repeat), so he's not on his normal schedule anyway. After that, you're mainly reporting, and you could do that in the temple, courtyard or anywhere else as well as in his bed ... I'm mean throne room, as usual.

Btw, his generic greeting during the questline isn't that "I'm a busy man"-line, it's an update on the war. When my Nord came home late, or left for some adventure in the morning, she usually woke him up. He would then something about the war, and then go back to sleep, mumbling about Tullius and troops. Poor man, that war haunts him even in his sleep :P

Damn PS3s and not being able to undress the one my character went to bed with <_<

The screenshot function wouldn't help much, though, since you still can't see the character go to sleep.

sorry, I just know the "3" from the other thread haha
I behave myself, that's why. :halo:

I don't have much to contribute to the picspam, since I haven't used Ulfric as follower much so I've just got the usual screenshots.

http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/vv146/gmosko/Skyrim/1aa14979.jpg is my Stormcloak. I picture her a lot like http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8n7dz7nXN1rs1ef6o1_500.jpg in her battle gear (that's Olga Kurylenko from the movie Centurion).

I tagged http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m01i49PFdy1qkkw9mo1_500.jpg as "Cute Ulfric."

http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m2pf8l9ymZ1rtpt5co1_500.jpg isn't my screenshot, but someone put him in daedric armor. Mmf. source... for some reason this link doesn't want to work, but it's the F-yeahulfric tumblr.

Also not mine, but someone got him to http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m6lplxYPkf1qk0gi0o2_250.png! http://brynjolfs-protege.tumblr.com/post/26446431426

No Ulfric, but http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m5qdhi8pYp1rrj2jxo1_500.jpg nonetheless (also not mine- source http://bryanbragiel.tumblr.com/post/25250620672/stormcloaks-rule).

A contribution as good as any. I like your Stormcloak. She's got my nose. (Actually, from that angle she looks a little like the Nord character I modelled from my own face, a playthrough where I decided to play each situation as I in fact would if Skyrim was real - an experiment that turned out to be really boring.I abandoned her at level 5 or so. And no, neither she nor your character actually looks like me  And I wouldn't join an army irl, so I would never have hooked up with Ulfric in that playthrough, either.)

 He actually looks kind of cuddly in that picture. A cuddly bear.

...But not so cuddly here. I never thought Deadric Armor could look good. Guess I was wrong!

I like the dialogue line that ended up showing on the shot. Of course, my lord. The fangirl mind runs wild filling in the blank before that.

Very nice! LOL! So true! And I never thought about being slumped over on him. Oh, Ulfric, you had me at "mmmrrph!" I love the CK. I made an Ulfric mannequin for the house I'm making. Then it occurred to me that it might be just a tad immersion-breaking while playing. Or my character is a psycho if she has a house full of Ulfrics. For a joke, I thought about making a really big Ulfric and putting him next to my personal Talos shrine.
One of my lair mods has 60+ Lydia mannequins. Not the standard fugly one either, new face, new hairstyle, plat blond instead of mud brown... Unfortionatly every now n then the mod freaks out and everything on the mannequins vanishes. So with that in mind I've stopped using them for storage, leaving 60+ stark naked Lydia's standing there. Creepy.

Now here's something I haven't seen before. http://th02.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f/2012/108/e/9/high_king_ulfric_stormcloak_by_radioactive_vampire-d4wlhil.png!

I'm still trying to get used to Ulfric wearing a circlet. I think he's the only Jarl who doesn't wear one by default, and maybe it's because it's just not part of his "look," but I can't quite reconcile myself to it. I tried making him one instead of giving him a helmet (armored circlet mod FTW) when I first had him as a follower, because I like to see my followers' faces. But it just looked wrong somehow so I gave up. At least I had him in the Blades gear and it's not a closed helmet so that wasn't so bad. But I don't so much mind the circlet in that picture, altho I still prefer him in his default apparel or armor. Somehow the idea of him lolling around a palace in fine clothes just doesn't sit right.

Agreed.

I wonder why you sit upright in the thrones of Solitude and slouch in all the others? (Yes, I've tried B))

So have I. IIRC there are also some thrones in the Ancient Nord Crypts upon which you sit upright.

Love it.

I'm glad Ulfric doesn't wear a circlet. Sorry to those who like them, but it looks girly to me. An arm or neck torq, now that's a different story.

Well, it definitely looks girly on him for some reason. I don't mind it on my male followers, even the ones in heavy armor. But I put one on him and then exited the inventory menu and looked at him and went, "oh no no no no just NO." Then went right back in and took it away from him and gave him a helmet instead. TBH with him as a follower fully leveled up with UFO's commands for that, he really doesn't need a helmet. He'd probably be fine in his default apparel even without modding it to have a decent armor rating. I mean he's essential so it's not like he's gonna die, but I think at one point in my last game his health was up in the 600s somewhere so it's not like he ever needed to take a knee either.

It's funny but after spending so much time interacting with him in the Palace on all the CW stuff, every time I go into another hold's capital and see another Jarl who's wearing a circlet, I swear I can feel my character's eyes rolling at the sight of it.

Really though if we're gonna have him all dolled up as High King, he should be wearing the crown Torygg wore, doesn't Torygg have an actual, more "traditional" style crown?

No. He should wear the Jagged Crown! So, Lyn, give it back now. I know you have it hidden away somewhere.

You think? I like it. It does look more like a helmet than a crown though (it has armor rating, hasn't it?). He shouldn't wear it all the time, just for special occasions, you know, for the symbolic value and all.

In general, I'm not that fond of headgear at all. I rarely give my followers helmets - some of them get circlets, if they look good in them (which almost no males do), and I like to wear circlets on my own characters (male and female, well, I've only had one male character so far, and he's the type who can wear it - he's has a rather typical Imperial look with short, dark hair, it works), but helmets - rather not. Stenvar did look kind of badass in ebony armor and the Helm of Yngol, though.

The one who streaks - because he must? Well, considering the weather in Windhelm, I guess a Nudist High King is about as badass as you can get.

Yeah, I like the Jagged Crown. I think it could stand to have at least one gem put in it without looking too girly, too.

I wear headgear on both of my characters (followers, too), but I don't wear helmets in town or around 'respectable' people. My chick never wears armor in town, but if she did I'd take the helmet off of her, too.

And, yeah, that Helm is gonna' be the one worn with the Ancient Nord stuff as soon as I go retrieve, duplicate, and improve it.
