Has anyone ever tried to follow him from the keep in Helgen? I'm really curious about where he goes but I've only just now thought about doing that.

I don't think he ever makes it into the Keep, if so I've never seen him there on several playthroughs. If you follow Ralof he will ask the other SCs in there if they've seen Ulfric and they say no.

I've tried going back down the stairs in the tower where you go with Ralof immediately following Alduin's appearance, instead of up where I'm "supposed" to go, and I've tried hanging around about halfway up to see what he does after you start to leave. He has a conversation with the SC soldier who was tending the wounded while he talked to Ralof and she reports to him on their condition. Something about how they wouldn't have lasted much longer in the open, and will have to be carried out, but will live. If I get too far back down the stairs he just starts repeating the "We need to move. NOW!" line which I think is the game's way of telling you to get on up the stairs and out of there.

I think it was Aurora who said she heard the sound effect of him Shouting after that, when she was making her own escape. I don't think that was in the Keep, though, still out in the open. I suppose you could just make your way back to the tower after jumping out to see if he's still there. I always just assumed he got out some other way in the general confusion altho the implication from the conversation mentioned above is that he and the other soldier would be trying to carry the wounded to safety and freedom. Or maybe the other SCs in the Keep go out and rendezvous with him.

Thanks! And yeah, I love that helm as well. I've actually modded it back into the game after the point where I give it to him, I put it in his bedroom. I haven't gotten far enough with a character yet but the plan is that he will give it to me to wear when I go fight Alduin. I figure it will be a nice match for dragonplate armor.

OMG, I had a hard time getting the 4th and 5th frames aligned. For some reason the Liquify tool in Photoshop must've 'gooed' other parts of the original because there were a couple of other areas that changed from frame 4 to 5.

Ulfric knows how to protect his lady. We were heading up into the mountains with him watching my back when a sabre cat came lunging down from out of nowhere. I just noticed from that pic that there looks to be a problem with the lighting in that cell. *sigh* One more thing I need to tinker with, I guess. I never should've downloaded the CK, now I'm too obsessed with modding to actually play the damn game.

If it's just a matter of Brightness/Contrast I can adjust any of your pics in Photoshop. If it's directional that's a bit more tricky.

As you guys were having this conversation in the middle of the might for me, I pick up the Helgen subject:
Yes, it was indeed me who heard someone shouted on the outside, and well, unless there's a sound effect when Alduin shouts (not AFAIK, at least not that sound effect), it must have been Ulfric. This happened the very moment I klicked on the door to the keep, so I had no chance of turning arond to take a look.
I have messed around quite a bit in Helgen, I've lingered in the tower, I walked out through the door instead of up the stairs, I've tried backtracking after jumping from the tower (which is impossible, I think there are invisible walls to stop you from doing that). Ulfric has stayed inside the tower, occasionally looking out through the door, no matter how long I've lingered. I know I had this discussion in another thread, and someone wrote how he toggled free cam and played through the intro, and people just disappeared after a while, IIRC.

Anyway. Nice pics, everyone! I'll contribute with some crappy PS3 pics when I've started my PC.
