IDK how many of y'all watch/like the US version of The Office, but http://i.qkme.me/35gtlj.jpg comes up every time I search "ulfric stormcloak" so I figured I'd post it. :P

For those of you who don't watch it it's mockumentary genre and the guy in the pic often says things like, "Blah, blah, blah. False. Not blah, blah, blah." into the camera during his monologue/confessional moments and sometimes to the other characters.

That's another one that should probably be bookmarked for future SC vs. Imperial threads. :P

OK, I have one that I made from one of Lyn1964's screenshots, but first the backstory:

A while back Abrinth posted a pic of a Stormcloak soldier with an arrow through both knees. A few days ago I came up with this and posted it in the "...Screenshots" thread:
http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc398/buckomccane/Skyrim/Luck_01.jpg

Then Magyaronny posted something along the lines of: "I used to be an Adventurer like you, but then I ended up on a postcard."

So I seized on that and made this:
http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc398/buckomccane/Skyrim/arrow2x_PC_front_01.jpg
http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc398/buckomccane/Skyrim/arrow2x_PC_back_01.jpg

Lorelei made a comment that Ulfric might get pissed, but then she theorized that maybe he planned it so he could get more guards in Windhelm so I made this (from one of Lyn's Ulfric pics):

Absolutely.

(I haven't watched more than a few minutes here and there of the US version of The Office, I've heard it's good, though, even if you're a huge fan of the original (which I am, Ricky Gervais ftw! :D). I'm a bit ashamed to tell you there's a Swedish version as well. According to people who have watched it: don't. :P)

False. We watch the Swedish version and it is great.

Also false. It is terrible.

The guy who plays the boss actually usually is very funny. Not here, though, apparently (as I said, I haven't watched it, and I don't intend to waste my time doing it, either).

Back on topic: I suddenly started to wonder what Ulfric would have looked like if he had become a Greybeard. I figured someone out there must have put him in Greybeard robes - a quick googling was unsuccessful however.

I'll look for pics, but if Lyn can get me a couple of screenshots (one of a full-body Greybeard and one of full-body Ulfric) I can put them together. :P

Hi gals and guys, can I join in?

I'll try and get Ulfric in the Greybeard robes. It shouldn't be so hard. It would have been easier if I still had my Nord lady that had him as a follower, sadly I lost her.

In the meantime here is a http://i.imgur.com/eLltb.jpg of Ulfric enjoying a...ummm...bread and relaxing, with a tiny dragon in the distance. Just a remnant I have from Inga and the good old days, but thought I'll post it as my "initiation", huhu.

Thank you!
Now I'll have to advance through the ranks - first rank, Guard Duty. "Comes with your very own, personalized Arrow in the Knee!"
At least I get to spend more time in Windhelm.

I whipped http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc398/buckomccane/Skyrim/Ulfric_Greybeard_01.jpg up pretty quick for now. lorelai's will probably be better since she can take proper screenshots and isn't limited by what she can find.

That is a very nice pic! One of the things I love about having Ulfric as a follower (with all the appropriate mods) is the option of telling him to chill for a while and then getting to see him do "normal" NPC stuff like eating and drinking. I had him relax in an inn once and as far as I could tell he spent the entire night at the bar boozing it up.

Which reminds me, I really need to look into modding the inns to have at least one bed that's "owned" by followers, in theory they should then have the option of having a nap when we stay there. Of course if I'm sleeping myself I'll never see it but it would make me feel better. At least with the relax option they don't stand there at my bedside staring at me all night. :P

You know you can just ask me.

Sigh. I need to play to get the screenies and if I could play right now I'd just go in and use console commands to make him wear the things. :P

Edit: lol I see we've already got an example. Nice that you left the hood off, we want to see his face anyway!

The robes were sans hood, but there was a pic of an NPC with a hood that I could've added, but I figure between you, lorelai, and Celan there'd be a better pic coming along, anyway. :P

I started using the hooded pic, but it was a female NPC so I would've had to do a lot of 'Photoshopping' to make it look right. FWIW you could see plenty of his face, but not his argument-winning braids.

He looks a little like a paper doll. Grey hair suited him better than I thought, though.

Just imagine the sudden stream of female pilgrims to High Hrotgar if he had returned there after the war instead. :P

I had him relax in an inn once and as far as I could tell he spent the entire night at the bar boozing it up.

Which proves it, the man needs more time off. If I was on PC I would take him to the hot springs. :D

I've begun to ask them to sit down in one of the other rooms at the inn. That way I can RP that they rent a room of their own, and sleep there while I sleep in my room. In some inns there seem to be only one room for rent, though - like the Winking Skeever. I sometimes leave them in the chairs outside - my Nord did that when she had male followers - but my Imperial let Brelyna share his bed, it was very decent, they were fully dressed - well, the first night. The second night, I imagined there was some action once screen blacked out (gotta RP a love story before they get married! ;)).

Thank you! Yes, I loved having him along, helping me out, arguing with the frost trolls and bears, disarming Deathlords so that I had to run all over the place and find that sword they dropped, haha. I had a LOT of giggles with him.
And at the end of the day we would set-up camp, relax and maybe play some "Age of Oppression" and "Ragnar the Red".
Ehh...good times...now I have to do the whole Civil War again. If only it had the more epic battles that haven't been released (I can still see them in the CK - Markarth for once)

Which reminds me, I really need to look into modding the inns to have at least one bed that's "owned" by followers, in theory they should then have the option of having a nap when we stay there. You could try http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20054

Just imagine the sudden stream of female pilgrims to High Hrotgar if he had returned there after the war instead.

Or a whole revolution! "We demand that women be allowed to become Greybeards!!" -- "Ummm, but you don't have beards...that might be an issue, you know..." -- "It doesn't matter, we want to, work something out!"
