This is good to know if you're playing a 20/30-something PC who intends to be his main squeeze forever, lol. At least you know he'll keep aging well.

I've begun to ask them to sit down in one of the other rooms at the inn. That way I can RP that they rent a room of their own, and sleep there while I sleep in my room. In some inns there seem to be only one room for rent, though - like the Winking Skeever. I sometimes leave them in the chairs outside

I did the same thing before I had follower mods that let me tell them to relax and hang out for a while. I would just tell them to sit somewhere and go sleep and pretend that they (or I) had rented a second bed for them to sleep in whenever they decided to turn in. Even with the relax mod I go to bed and just pretend that they have their own spot and will sleep in it at their own discretion.
The incident with Ulfric was hilarious, I "relaxed" him in the Nightgate Inn (SHUT UP BUCKOM) and he promptly sat down at the bar and started drinking and he was still in the same spot with a tankard in his hand when I got up the next morning. With a scowl on his face, no less. We had just gotten married and were on a honeymoon tour of the country so I RP'd that he was really put out by the fact that the innkeeper gave us a room with a single bed and no door.

Does this work with previous versions of the game? I'm still on 1.5, I won't update until they fix the problem with items you pick up flipping upside down.
