You could make a thread about the 10 things you hate about Skyrim... and watch it close down rather quickly.

Thank you for making this thread! bethesda poured their heart and soul into making an amazing game, but people always have to find reasons to complain :(

1. The Dragons. They came out perfect.
2. The level up and perk screen. Excellent change of interface and visually enchanting.
3. The landscape and world architecture. I just cant stop from taking screenshots and feeling like am in a real world that exists. I could wonder around for hours without any combat and not feel bored.
4. Music. Buetifully haunting and timeless capturing each situation with invocative power.
5. Skills. Am finding myself using skills i never used in past Elder Scrolls chapters. I will probably end up playing characters i've never played before for this reason among many others. Every skill is a ton of fun to use.
6. Character creation. I can actually create a Mr.Olympia work of muscular art or a skinny lanky stealthy master of the shadows thanks to the ability to change my body type. Truly a dream come true. Then theres the intensely detailed face generator allowing one to mold as clay the most sinister evil looking character or the most buetiful and confidence inspiring. Very satisfying and has me experimenting just to see what i can come up with even when not in the mood for a new character.
7. The wildlife and monsters. Very alive and so believable in their appearance and mannerism they would not look out of place or fake in the real world.
8. Npcs. They have me minding my manners they feel so authentic in their illusion of life and the structure of their society with governmental laws and street justice.
9. Audio. Truly Skyrim was made to be listened and played with headphones. The sound effects of the world are so rich with detail of realism i could be playing blind and still enjoy Skyrim completely.
10. Weapons and armor. They make me feel mighty and powerful to crush all who would dare oppose me.

Thank you Bethesda for the best ever Elder Scrolls yet! :icecream: :cake: :icecream:

That's why I made this thread. So many people complaining. I figured it was about time that we all get together and list out what we like.

I love everything lol can't think of just 10 things. I like that when you stand there and look at a person or horse, they blink and look real.
I like you can play tag with a kid, I more than like chopping off peoples heads..
I like the environment and streams, and how the harbor at Solitude sounds like a real harbor :b

Great to see a topic like this, and even better that it didn't get shot down in the first five posts. You make a nice list of ten. I don't fully agree on all 10, but in most I do agree with you. Here is my own list (first things that come to mind, in random order)

1. Archery. I always loved being an archer, but Skyrim implements it in the most fun way I've seen so far.
2. Visuals. They are definetly stunning at times.
3. Crafting system. I feel it's much more realistic and interesting than what we had in e.g. Oblivion.
4. Melee combat mechanics and looks (including kill cams). Very cool action, in older TES games I sometimes felt like combat was just a break from the story of my character, here it is actually very fun.
5. Perks. I love that we have a choice in the way our characters progress.
6. Carriages. Oblivion lacked a decent fast travel system that was realistic, and bound to big cities. We had silt striders in Morrowind, I'm glad they are now back as carriages. I hate using fast travel by clicking any location on the map and ending up there. Carriages are more realistic and remove the need for map-based fast-travel.
7. Being able to do two different things with your two hands. Adds so much more variety to play styles.
8. Starting as a prisoner. I love that they stick to that tradition.
9. Animal AI. There seems to be more coherence in how animals interact, be it in packs, when they run into eachother, etc.
10. Dragons. Sure they spawn too often and the fights could be better. But they are also mighty awesome!

Thanks Bethesda, thanks Todd Howard.

Every week I find a new detail that makes me smile, and I already have a lot of fun dropping corpses from the top of a mountain or waterfall... I love how the enemies respond to your approach not attacking you but warning, they unsheathe their weapons and yell "Back off!!" or "That's close enough!"... don't remember seeing this on Oblivion.
