Things you can't take seriously

*hair flip*

I have Facebook for that.

_______________

Another thing I can't take seriously is when people can't take me seriously.

You really don't look that serious in your forum pic... like a Carebear selling illegal firearms.

Lol, I know. Tablet-camera quality isn't the best.

__________

Mmmm, I can't it seriously when my friends, or someone who isn't an already-famous poet writes poetry. Especially when it's about the "cloud of darkness over their heart".

Jokes
and Fat people ordering a diet coke
It's kind of a tangent but it really bothers me when I see fat parents buying KFC or whatever for fat children. It's okay to be fat and all that, but if you have kids I'm not too sure that feeding them fast food everyday is a healthy lifestyle -_-

drama. It's so ridiculus, it has no meaning, no purpose, and no reason. Yet people love it and let it control them.

When people use generalizing terms, say games are dumbed down for console gamers, assume that PC gamers are all PC elitists.

People who are overtly defensive. Insecurity is a minor irritation when I experience it with other people. I am not an [censored] about it or anything but wanton insecurity is goddamned annoying. I do understand however that peole generally have good reasons for their insecurities. I just find most of the ones I encounter are kind of full of bad reasons and seem likethey are looking for excuses to complain.

Braggarts and Jealous people. It all depends on the context though for these two.

Aliens, Religion, Superstitions and outdated thinking. Also things I usually do not take seriously. Though I often do take a few od them rather seriously depending on the situatuon. Hard to hold an argument with someone when they adhere to these things(for their argument) in spite of you pointing to inconsistencies with their reasoning though.
-God just made it that way. Aliens could have done it. Ghosts only appear if you believe in them. Thats just the way it has always been- hard to take anyone seriously when they use arguments like that.

Nothing against the people who do believe in such things though. Whatever floats your boat. I could very easily be wrong too. I am just the gotta see itto believe it type.

Religion
Tsoukalos
fat parents buying KFC or whatever for fat children.
Comedians
Stupid [censored] on FB that makes people feel good about themselves for "liking". For instance: "like this is you hate cancer". I suppose I'm pro-cancer since I decide to ignore these stupid posts.
Ethnic pride.
First world problems

Probably lots of more stuff I don't give a [censored] about, but I can't be bothered to think of more stuff. :hehe:

Religon.

Oops did I say that out loud?

That's actually what I was going to say.

Oh what's that? It's one of the innovative well written pieces of modern television ever to grace our screens? Yes I agree!

Yup, we got our next Game of Thrones right here folks :P

Double standards.

Like on this forums how people can bring up religion as long as they are bashing it but as soon as someone tries to defend it the thread gets shutdown or their post gets deleted...... Just an example ;)

Ethnic pride

Definitely this.

Tons of "VIVA CUBA!" and "GOOOOOOOAAAALLLLLL" down here in Florida. People actually argue and hate each other over what type of Hispanic they are. To me, they're all Hispanic, but you can apparently "look Cuban" and "look Colombian". It's so ridiculously annoying.

EDIT: @Chef Kronus: If you don't hate religion, you love it.

Spreading Awareness, for anything. The second someone claims they are 'spreading awareness' for a cause, i cease to take them seriously.

90% of the people spreading awareness arent even fund raising to help said cause. They're just spreading awareness of the cause, it doesnt necessarily mean that they are trying to cure it but people just assume they have a lab of 20 scientists working around the clock using all the money that goes towards the cause and are trying to cure it.

Like for example Bono, his not-for profit foundation collected like 30 million dollars and they only gave away 260, 000 of that towards what they said they're helping. And when asked about why they only gave that away and why the rest went towards administration costs, he said along the lines of "well we are just spreading awareness about the cause...".

Or the briast cancer foundation. Last year i was reading a thing of richest CEOs in north america, and the briast cancer chick was 21st richest CEO in north america.
Now dont get me wrong, cancer of any kind is a terrible thing, and any money actually going towards that mythical lab of 20 scientists working around the clock on a cure is a good thing and should keep on happening.
But when the CEO of the not for profit foundation that is supposed to be just taking this money to use towards actually curing the cancer is the 21st richest CEO in north america, then there is something seriously wrong.

I mean as the CEO doing all the work, yeah you should get paid for it and be able to live comfortably, but 21st richest CEO of the richest continent is living way more comfortably then any not for profit person should be.
And the briast cancer foundation keeps claiming that they are spreading awareness, so their administration costs are high. Well i think now EVERYBODY in north america is quite aware of briast cancer now. Maybe you guys should stop spreading awareness now, and actually start working on finding a cure. With all that extra money they have now, they can seriously employ every freakin docter in north america to work on a cure if they feel like it, but they cant because their administration costs.

So personally i support the cause for finding a cure, but i cant support the briast cancer foundation specifically. Im going to have to find other ways to help out i guess, like maybe going directly to the labs that the briast cancer foundation fund, and donate directly to them without the middle man.

Women's rights

I support War on Women. My own war against women. Hehe. Not the political one.

What else I can't take seriously? Shallow women! And women who play mind games!

-Religion
-"hardcoe" Gamers Who Brag about their rank in Call of Duty
-Frat-Boys who consider themselves Gamers
-People who's only goal in life is to make them selves feel better by diminishing others.

Some things that Annoy me:
-Death. Pesky Bugger.
-Girls who constantly complain about how fat they are. Usually its not even true and they just want attention, or it is and they won't shut up about it.
-Know-It-Alls.
-Dalek.
-Twenty Year Olds who party with 16 year olds and brag about it.
-Friends who try to put my soul on the track of redemption.
-Uncaring egotistical friends.

Yadda Yadda.
