Ah okay. I don't want to convince you to watch more, but I would have never become a fan of the show if I only saw the first three episodes.

Or, which is more likely, you choose not to. And yes, you do want to convince him. You even said earlier in the topic that it's "worth it to try". Honestly, bronies have become even more annoying than religion and politics combined. As such, shouldn't MLP be a banned topic as well? If it were up to me, it would be. Or hell, at the very least, confined to one thread like it should be. I don't enjoy signing into a game forum that has nothing to do with that abomination and seeing topics about it crop up, and if I see any of them separate from the MLP thread, I'm gonna be a [censored] about it.

As for me, I watch MLP casually. Record the shows of the day, watch them the hour before I go to bet. It's cute, but forgettable, not worth the obsession.
