*ducks*

Anyone wanting to check this info can just look at the files in the 3rd post.

What I did was back up my Skyrim dir, apply the beta update and diff the directories

:teehee: But really, I wonder when they will give some detail about this info. I mean, for Dawnguard they gave us an image and we picked it apart to death. What we theorized became true! (Except the Werebears )

Solthseim is very similar to Skyrim though in terms of the environment, so i can see a lot of people complaining about that.

This ain't the same Solstheim anymore. Dunmers settled it 200 years ago and they most definitely brought their culture there (well, at least we know they built a Temple from the Markers and from Lord of Souls we know that many Nords work under the Dunmer).

Nah, a Telvanni Tower is a giant-spiraling plant that a powerful wizard (obviously from House Telvanni) grows into the shape of a tower: http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs41/f/2009/047/9/4/Telvanni_Tower_by_Demi_urgic.jpg

Ooo, adding finally some fantasy into this fantasy RPG?

This, but it makes me curious what became of the Skaal tribe we met in Bloodmoon. Perhaps they are still kickin' and tolerated the Dunmer?

How in the world did people figure this out?

Extracted the game files and checked it. It is a popular method to find what future DLC's will be about in many games.
This is how we knew what Dawnguard will be about before it was even announced.

Knowing TES5, the story will have Dunmer Vs. Skaal conflicts. But than, Skaal never went out of their village besides when they destroyed Fort Frostmoth.
Skaal will probably hate the Skyrim Nords tough. They gave the Dunmer Solstheim even tough Solstheim was never part of Skyrim.

Steam beta update, diggin trough the new Update.esm file it has. It tells what they're planning, not necessarily what they'll create in the end. And as said, Dawnguard's stuff was revealed this way.

I love the idea of travelling to Solstheim. I was hoping for a High Rock expansion, but frankly, I will be happy to leave the land of Skyrim in any direction. Not that I don't love the land of Skyrim, but I've spent so much time there, I really want to bring my characters to new countries and lands.

As for the heart-ripping finishing move, that sounds great. So does riding dragons and casting spells while riding. Maybe you ride the dragon between Skyrim and foreign lands, but you can't ride it casually like a horse.

I was just thinking, people were the same about Dawnguard: Wondering what the heck the name meant. Then we found out it was the name of the vampire hunter's faction.

So perhaps it being called Dragonborn, maybe we travel to Solsthiem where we discover more secrets and legends about what it truly means to be Dragonborn.

No Charlie no!!! I hope this is not true, at least the dragon stuff part, we don't need anymore dragon content the whole main quest was about that, plus why would a dragon let a mortal ride it, when they see them as inferior? And the name sounds pretty lame, I mean really Dragonborn... If this is true I at least they add FREAKING WEREBEARS!!!!!!!!! Maybe the Skaal are werebears now.

Zenimax trademarked the name a while ago. This is what people thought the first DLC was to be called. Then they threw them a curve ball by calling it Dawnguard :P

That would be cool. Thu'um perk tree maybe? That would be sweet, but I'm not gonna start imagining things so as not to get my hopes up. I'll wait and see. If it is this, then it sounds quite awesome.

Hmmm, a shout perk tree? I didn't think about that! I can see it now, shout CD times reduced, damage buffs....Oh man, the OP goodness!

I hope the towns, cities and buildings look like what they did in Morrowind then. It would be cool having a city that looks like Vivec combined with Balmora and in the center it could have a giant tree building like Tel Fyr. The other thing that would be nice is that the DLC brings back the Dunmer weapons and armor that were in Morrowind.(Even though Windhelm is heavily populated by Dunmers. It's severely lacking in their culture.)
