Top 5 countries you want to visit.

You don't need to, we're all coming round to your place! You suggested it one of those various times that your keyboard had "broken" and you were typing incoherently. Possibly.
I... don't remember.

More seriously: For those of you eyeing Australia, be aware that Alaska is the only thing stopping it from being bigger than the continental USA. And we've got less than a tenth of the population, though that's besides my point. We have a wide rand of environment; from rainforests -both wet and dry- to deserts, to scrublands, to plains, to mountains... in the north you'll find people growing sugar cane, bananas, mangoes, and more, while where I grew up in Victoria it's mainly oats, wheat, and sheep. So if you do visit, try not to get stuck in Sydney, 'cause there's a hell of a lot more to see that's far more unique than yet another city .

The only cities/towns worth visiting in Tasmania are Hobart, Devonport and Penguin. The rest are run down middle of nowhere holes. Keep that in mind if you plan on visiting.

The roads, however, are very attractive to motorcyclists.

I always make an effort to get out of the city I'm going to visit. When I went to New Orleans I made sure to get about 20 miles out and go on a gator tour. :D

Guys, no love for Portugal? Kind of interested in how people think of it by the way...

*raises hand* Oh wait...

Anyways, I'd say:

The UK in general, fortunately I'm going to England later this year.
Australia.
The US, not sure which states though .
NZ.
Probably Swtizerland, I've there when I was a kid and I remember I really liked it but I don't really rememeber specifics so I'd enjoy going there again.

Not so much that's poisonous, but we do have quite a few snakes and spiders and things that are venomous .

A while back I was talking to an American migrant, who spent some time here in his youth before moving later in life. One of his tales from when he was young and stupid was seeing a http://www.cosmosmagazine.com/files/imagecache/news/files/20070509_wallaby.jpg curled up for a snooze. He did what anyone would do and started dragging it out of the spot it was in so he could get a better look. The Aussies he was with were telling him it was a bad idea... and got plenty of laughs when he noticed the claws and the wallaby woke up (they can move at over 30km/h [over 19mi/h], BTW ).
That is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Its existance explains the horrors of Australia, acting as a counter balance to its cuteness.
Daaawwwww.

I just dont get it, why is Wales up with Italy and Japan ? What makes it interesting ?
Wales I figured wasnt even known much outside of the UK, Australia and NZ, we are just that unimportant.

It doesn't even have much interest within the UK either, it's like an overgrown Aberdeen where everyone talks with a weirder accent than those from the Highlands.

I can give you a little assistance.

If you like gravel in peoples front yards, no trees, and a lot of old people, you would like Arizona.

New York is an awesome place to visit, contrary to belief New York city isn't the only place to go.

Don't ever go to Oklahoma, it's too hot and humid.

Texas.... Too many stupid people on the highway, don't ever let them know that the Cowboys svck.

Florida, Daytona is a really cool place to visit during bike week, rent a mo-ped and ride it on the beach. (Be weary though, bikers will often mess with the people playing on the scooters.)

California, it's not too shabby, very fun and active cities there.

Colorado, the mountains. iliek.

Oregon/Washington/West Virginia, amazing scenery in all of those states.

Ohio, some really nice bars.

Minnesota, crazy Vikings fans...

Eh, that's all I have for now.

Or don't go to the states, Chile is a really awesome place to visit. Except the ice cream there taste weird.

There's also http://www.oceanwideimages.com/images/10582/large/short-beaked-echidna-24T5029-10D.jpg, who are quite nice as long as you don't prikc yourself, and http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2005/03/09/ani_bilby_gallery__519x313.jpg, which aren't dangerous at all but haven't faired well against rabbits, foxes, etc. :(

https://ferrebeekeeper.files.wordpress.com/2011/02/wombat_front.jpg have their fans, too.

Germany
France
Brazil
Japan
Sweden

There's quite a number of countries I won't visit (or visit again) for various reasons, but others I'll visit which aren't in that top 5 (just without as much priority) are Greenland, Iceland, UAE, Finland, Portugal, Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Estonia. It's more likely than not that we'll be making a very broad European trip to cover the continental region near Germany and France depending on funds, but as far as expenses go would rather broadly visit several in one trip than spend on each one individually.

And koala bears. But im weary of them, maybe its the fact they cling to trees, and that makes me assume they have razor sharp claws.
Bilbies look like an anteater/mouse/rabbit mixture.

Dosent Australia have cammels too ? Boy we sure did [censored] that places eco system up.

Camels are actually not a negative influence on the desert eco-system. They fill in an empty gap in the food chain quite nicely.

Unfortunately they run at a breakneck pace and tear up cattle fences which annoys farmers.
