Transformation for thieves idea.

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 11:40 pm

yeah werewolves are to "glassy" to be a worrior. I'd rather sneak around with them and rip people apart with a Werebear.
You have an obsession with werebears and I have an obsession with werewolves. I would much rather have werewolves as warriors, plus they fit the job.

No. I'm actually a great Werewolf fan but I agree to others, Werewolves should be a stealth transformation while Werebears are much suited in Combat/Warriorlike.
Werewolves are supposed to be nimble and quick, while Werebears are a huge creature protected with lots of fur and fat that would tank well.

Its not an obsession. I just really want them in the game. It makes way more since if Werebears are added that they're big bulky warriors and that werewolves are sly sneaky and stealthy.

werebears and werewolves are both warriors ok!! both of them. Vampire should be more mages and stealthy.

As said before, werewolves are glasscannons so adding sneak would balance things out, especially since the vampire lords can toggle between melee and magic. Then by adding werebears there would be three archetypes Werewolves(light armored assassins) Vampire Lords(mages) and Werebears(Heavy armored warriors).

Here is an idea, let's move on from the transformation thing.

Please! Is being a human just not good enough anymore? Dang even in the movies now if you are not an alien, mutant, vampire or werewolf you are just a nobody.

for werewolves make the most since.

Sense, make sense. Dear god. lol Nobody caught that?

I'd love to see werebears in the game, should have been there already. Werecrocs and weresharks too, if for no other reason than to give us players something to crap our pants about while swimming in the sea.

I just thought a transformation for thieves would make sense.

Werewolves are for Warriors
Vampire Lords are for Mages
________? are for Thieves

I know the transformations aren't limited to the aforementioned archetypes, but they obviously gravitate towards them.

I was thinking a transformation capable of sneaking would be great for thieves.
And seeing how Dawnguard caters to Warrior in the Dawnguard Faction and Mages in the Vampire Faction, but thieves are kind of left out. Thsi could be part of a DLC*.

A transformation given by Nocturnal would make sense, as Molag Bol and Hircine created the Vampire and Werewolf transformations respectively.

My idea would be some kind of Grim Reaper type character that travels through shadows and can kill even within groups of people without getting spotted with some type of shadow assassination.

Any other ideas?

I like the idea. Its something worth kicking around :)

The Nightingale twist in the Thieves Quest line was interesting, so perhaps something that spun off of that. Perhaps scale back the Grim Reaper idea to something more like a shade, geist, or maybe a wraith form that can become ethereal. Sorta like the shout, but more like the VL's bat-jump. The form should be able to crouch and be more ghostly than beastly.

Its an interesting idea at least, and fun to brainstorm :)
