Even though I think this topic is mostly silly, I kind of like the "shade" transformation idea for thieves. The animal associated with Nocturnal is the raven by the way.

A raven transformation would be cool. Not a giant man-ranven, but a normal raven. That would be a really cool and could be used for a number of stealthy actions.

Beth is never going to add anthing that can "fly" in Skyrim. I just don't see how they would keep us from going into unloaded cities.

I keep saying theif/assassin characters already have a transformation and base form its called being a vampire. Vampires get bonuses to their sneaking and illusion and vampire lord is not THAT magicka intensive people think it is but its not. Plus with the vampire amulets helps the form even more.

Just give me nocturnals robes (console)

Have a quest where somebody defiles the twilight.. sep..rer.. clur?

do epic quest earn her ultimate favour and possible transormation into........... The spectre. A black shadow with red eyes (can of like the darkness from kingdom hearts (f loved them games) have a Huge bonus to sneak and critical strikes in stealth.. balance it with weakness when spotted/melee but yeah embrace the shadows!

I like the idea of the Spectre. Able to "sprint" away as a cloud of ravens, able to leap higher, and perhaps also able to walk through walls as a once a day.

They don't have to fly. A Hagraven-type transformation might be kinda cool. More stylized off the base model of your character, and not so hideous. That has possibilities.

I still like the shade / specter / wraith type form. Turn into an ethereal *poof* of vapor once a day, or perhaps as a sprint effect so you can move silently while sprinting.

Some neat ideas :)

I was thinking more along the line of turning into a black mist, entering an npc through his eyes and mouth, and imploding him into a black powder. lol Finally, a reason for Skyrim to be rated M.

The transformations aren't really specific to the different classes.

Even with just the 100 base magicka, in VL mode you'd have 250 magicka (350 with the ring), when you run out you can switch to claws which deal solid damage (+20 poison from perk and/or +20 from the other ring). The VL mode is just as strong from a warrior character to a mage, more health just makes you harder to kill.

Werewolves are more suited to the warrior, but the mage can get just as much use. Flesh spells and dragonhide? Yes please. The damage is unaffected by any of your combat skills, it's only the health/stamina that carries over.

Besides the vampire curse (not VL mode) is more suited to thieves than a mage/warrior.

Yup but some people are not grasping this.
