Spout handles 1.1 installation automatically. Just download from http://get.spout.org and use that to play on vanilla. Plenty of activity on vanilla yesterday, had a few new members join.

Right I'll get that done, is there a link for the Tekkit pack we've been using that's easy to install. Last time I tried was just after 1.1 came out and I couldn't get it working.

EDIT: My Spoutcraft won't update, just says an error in Minecraft installatoin.
EDIT2: Okay now it's doing... something?

Okay on regular server now.

You can download the Technic Launcher http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/. Make sure you go into Roaming and delete any older technic/tekkit files so you can have a clean install. The Technic Launcher has Technic, Tekkit, Yogbox and Vanilla install options, all from the same launcher and all automatic installs.

Spout has never worked for me for some reason, it wouldn't let me log in. I plan on just waiting until we move to 1.2.

I will say that Minecrafts success help launch the current drive of indie games. I think he deserves it.

Saw some pvssyr about /sethome and similar commands.
/sethome fixed on the Tekkit server now. Death will put you back at home. /spawn works as normal.
Vanilla server will not have /sethome . Sleeping in a bed will perform /sethome . Death will put you back at home. /spawn works as normal.

By death will put you back at home, do you mean our /home or /myspawn(beds)?
The latter would be much more benefical since my /home is in a mineshaft/ravine somewhere just above bedrock :tongue:

I would but I need to install it and then see if my xbox mic would work. Which it should do if I connect it to the controller and then plug the controller to the computer. It's just effort :meh:

I see the ores, but lessons learnt have taught me to look up slightly when mining or running towards ore because there's always a mobile green ore beside it with an attachment disorder. :bomb_ie:
