What is Minecraft?

Minecraft is a creative sandbox game centered around exploration and survival; exploring and gathering resources allows you to protect yourself against a variety of beasties that hunt you down during the night. The creative sandbox elements of the game fuel your want to survive and gather, which in turn allow you to build many wonderful creations. Basic fluid physics also provide interesting means of creating basic machines.
The multiplayer is very similar to the single-player, just with more people and chat, TeamSpeak has also been implemented for both servers.

Delete the .techniclauncher folder in your AppData section and reload the launcher?
- If it doesn't work at all after several tries

No? WATC has 2 alone. I'm sure Lego has AT LEAST 100 and I'm pretty sure Elrond has one.

I'm not sure I like Equivalent Exchange, it has too many applications. With Buildcraft and Industrialcraft you had to set up a new machine each time you wanted to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of a certain process. Now all you have to do is make one set of Equivalent Exchange tools (Collectors, Relays etc) and scarcity becomes a thing of the past.
It was interesting at first but now it just feels like cheating, with the difference being that you must gather enough resources before you can cheat.

You don't make them like I do <_<

I still don't understand the Transition(?) Tablet, I had it exchanging my tungsten and other things for diamonds and then when I give it redstone or nikolite it adds EMC but doesn't give me any products on the right - except what I already put it and now it just eats tungsten and diamonds without giving EMC or and output

And I really appreciate having infinite resources at my disposal. Also, what do you mean 'approaching'? I get the impression you're already there.

The EE 'Fuel' items are kept separate from the 'Matter' items. The fuel items are Charcoal, Redstone, Coal, Gunpowder, Nikolite, Glowstone Dust, Alchemical Coal, Blaze Powder, Blaze Rods, Glowstone Blocks, Mobius Fuel, and Aeternalis Fuel. Everything else should be matter.

I have no idea what that means or how it explains my EMC going up but nothing being produced on the other side apart from what I originally put in and why afterwards on a destroyed and replaced tablet (should reset its stats?) it just eats up my diamonds and tungsten without producing EMC or something on the right.

I think it's because it still has residual EMC locked to produce whatever kind of item you put in. All transmutation table and tablet stats are set on a per-player level, so you'll have the exact same grid no matter where you are. As far as your problem goes, stop feeding it, and try to pull as many items out of it as you can. If you have a Klein Star, you can use it so soak up the residual EMC.

I'll look into making one of those then. As for using everything up - I can't theres nothing being produced even with around 20k of EMC

Then you'll need a Klein Star. The first one is a diamond surrounded by mobius fuel. It'll hold 50K of EMC.

I just want to assuage Justin after my comments in the last thread. Yes, the pathfinding makes the mobs less predictable and more deadly, since they basically don't get hung up on 1-block obstacles anymore. They are more likely to surprise you. Though with some armor, they're still easily dispatched once you engage them.

I won't lie, it's made my cave exploration (even) more cautious. But I can appreciate this sort of challenge - it's not just harder in an artificial sense by beefing up the enemies (ie: difficult for difficulty's sake), it has a point. It makes the exploration more meaningful.

Though, with this now in place, I would certainly appreciate if Jeb could remove, or lessen, the heat-seeking sonar that all mobs seem to possess.

In other news, I'll request a Vanilla map change to 1.2. Bukkit and mods will come soon, but judging from my visits to the server forum, the Vanilla server is pretty empty. I suspect people have stopped playing because they know the new map will wipe all their progress. I doubt we'll have many griefing issues in this early stage.

Honestly, I have a difficult enough time cave exploring. I'm a compulsive simpleton when it comes to mines. Anything that could be of remote value to me results in my becoming James Woods in Family Guy going 'Ooh piece of candy!' at anything from coal to diamond. I can't mine everything and watch my back all at once ;-;

I've stopped playing because my Minecraft is updated to 1.2, so I can't actually log on. When the server does update to 1.2, I'll be playing.

Although, full creeper damage... :o

Spout handles 1.1 installation automatically. Just download from http://get.spout.org and use that to play on vanilla. Plenty of activity on vanilla yesterday, had a few new members join.
