Did you donate? There was recently a donation that didn't have a matching forum email, if that was you, just email me the transaction details and I'll fix it.

I donated yesterday that might have been me, was the name Lee Smith?

Why don't we set up our own Teamspeak server? It's quite possible to do so with the type of server we have at our disposal.

News to me. I had assumed that you were all talking about something else.

It isn't mentioned in the OP.

https://code.google.com/p/sa-technic/downloads/detail?name=TechnicLauncher-v0.2.exe&can=2&q=
The copy from the old backup repository might work. I'd personally wait until the main page is fixed.

That sounds pretty cool. They might make us some new machines too.

Hehehehe

Also, one thing I was wondering, when Tekkit goes 1.2, will we need to update MC itself, or does Tekkit do it's magic?

You would wait until the server is upgraded to update, and then the technic launcher would handle everything.

For anyone interested in the console version of Minecraft - It's going to be an XBLA exclusive so there will be no PS3/Vita release.

Features:
  • Character skins will be editable (though, not at launch)
  • Mods will not be available "yet"; the developers want to focus on textures, skins and mods (in that order)
  • Multiplayer? Absolutely! Players can do up to 4-player split-screen or 8-player networked games, or any derivative thereof (two households of 4-player splitscreen, for example)
  • Achievements? Of course, it's XBOX! What XBLA game would be complete without them?
  • Can the XBLA version play with PC games? Not quite; the PC version has been (and likely will be for a long time) far ahead of the console port version, so having PC and console game sessions interact would be tricky at best - though this may change in the future
  • Avatar clothes/collections? Yes, although no specifics at this time
  • Kinect compatibility? Not just yet, but it may come in the future
  • What is the price? "To be announced"
Price will obviously be 1200 points. Because of how popular Minecraft is and how much Microsoft want to milk it.
I'm surprised the use of mods is being allowed, or even looked at considering how strict xbox is with the use of mods.

Bethesda wanted to do the same thing with Skyrim, no word on that yet either.
