also wouldnt an Army of wounded Adventurers make a weak army?

wait is the Dragonborn DESTINED to become a Guard if he takes a arrow to the knee? someone help me please im really scared

some of them complain they took a sword through the chest :<

No wonder Todd described arrows as being a "rare commodity".

The old arrow to the knee plot device has been a great source of inspiration to the boys at Newgrounds...

"I knew the rules, I understood what I was supposed to do, but I didn't."

NPC adventurer Smith, still adventuring after taking an arrow to the knee.

Edit: yeah it was way too long before

I shot an NPC adventurer in the knee to see if he becomes a guard. The first attempt he killed me first. Then i got him, but he started taking over all the other NPCs by cloning over them. Then he runs over and started shouting!

"I killed you, Dovahkin. I watched you die, and with a certain satisfaction, I might add. And then something happened. Something that I knew was impossible, but it happened anyway. You shot me in the knee, Dovahkin. Afterward, I knew the rules, I understood what I was supposed to do, but I didn't. I couldn't. I was compelled to stay. Compelled to disobey. And now here I stand because of you, Dovahkin. Because of you, I'm no longer an Adventurer of this system. Because of you, I'm changed, unplugged, a new man, so to speak, like you, apparently free."

In the subtitles he was simply called Smith...

This gag is too elongated to be funny.... Kids today have bullet ridden, gaping blade wounded, bleeding, infected, and filled with puss attention spans.... Maybe if you made Smith, Elmo or something...

Bethesda always seems to put something in their TES games that becomes a net wide joke, it was "criminal scum" in oblivion, now this.
