I have never noticed, does vanilla vampires have fangs?

I always thought they had retractable fangs so to better blend in with humans. Can't have a wolf in sheep's clothing if they're going to be exposed if they so much as open their mouth.

Why would you need to see fangs? It's not like your going to see your face often. I usually only see my hands and my back, and even if I did see my face it's covered by my Konahrik helmet.

Vanilla male vampires minus orcs have fangs, and both genders of Argonians and Khajiit have visible fangs in vanilla.

Glad I am not the only one with the lipstick of prostitution. Mine isn't read, it is black. And it makes my character look TERRIBLE. I can hardly look at her. I am thinking about wearing masks/Cowls all the time so I don't have to look at it. The eyes I could live with, but why change the lips?

Not sure if this can be answered yet due to NDA however, when you have Dawnguard does it change your vampire characters appearance to resemble that of the vampires in castle volkihar?

I have joined the Vampire lords and my physical appearance has changed. My eyes now glow bright yellow which looks really cool on my Dunmer because when he's in the shadows you can just see glowing yellow eyes. His face, most notably his brow has a big ridge and his eye line is almost black.

If they are true, then they should patch it to help end the complaints. Nobody wants to look hideously glitchy as a vampire with no way of changing the face, or not get a cool vampiric look because your character's race was neglected with the redesign. It svcks, no pun intended.

all i know is my high elf looked so ugly after the transformation, i actually reloaded and joined the dawnguard, making a new ugly char for the vamps, lol.

I just did the same!! i think it is ridiculous what they have done to the vampire's faces! I was actually all about the vamps before DG but now i just reloaded and cured that hideous Jack'-o'-lantern transvestite thing i had become and im off to join the dawnguard

there is a limit, seriously, why is serana not hideously disfigured then? I can understand a little ugly, but not insanely hideous.

are you sure? caus they removed the fangs, gave the men lipstick and at a certain point in the vampire cuestline Serena makes a nasty remark about how your actually... shining :stare:

as for the whole vamps are suposed to be ugly, well I wouldn't call my vampire character handsome before DG but certaintly more serious, menacing and subtle.

Make an orc for the vampires like i said, problem solved they have their own fangs and are initially pretty damned ugly.

My dark elf vamp is ugly, I designed him that way. But lipstick will make him look.....dodgy. :ermm:

yes the black lipstick is a bit silly, my high elf is golden with white lipstick, making her skin darker and giving her black lipstick just RUINED her look completely. I can understand a little darker lips and a little uglier, bu seriously, she looks like she took a dive off the tallest ugly tree on the planet and hit every twig on the way down, and the hit a trampoline, and repeated.

Why not? I'm going to do what I can to get them back into the game, ~~unless of course the internet is making fools out of everybody again.~~

Also, why did they remove fangs!? All they had to do was add in the ability to become a vampire lord and maybe tweak the eyes a little. Now I'm reading reports that vampires are glitch-uglier than ever, and they did away with fangs, and Argonians and Khajiit don't get any vampiric physical features at all.

I think maybe it wouldn't be all that bad of an idea for them to have a patch that fixes the physical appearances of vampires in their normal forms.

Agreed. I liked my vamp character before DG. The eye changes weren't so bad, and the glowing affect is pretty cool. I just can't take the plus mouth...that and my character's face looks really dirty most of the time. The worst part about it is that it's only the Dragonborn who gets the tranny makeover, every other vampire gets the glowing eyes. :/
So I cured my vampirism...I miss blending in with crowd.
