Vampire Lord form svcks :(

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 6:06 pm

Keep in mind I'm level 79 and I have a upgraded Dragon Bow which does 2000 damage and I have legendary Nightingale armor that gives me 9000 armor so when I say Vampire Lord form svcks I mean it svcks when you become godly.
How? I lose all my equipment stats, which keeps me alive vs lvl 79 enemies and in exchange I get abilities that don't do very well vs such beefy opponents.

You still get equipment stats...

Do you have Serana as a follower? She gimps it for some reason, Wish there was a way to fix it because I liked her.

http://www.gamesas.com/user/832898-shinobiex3/, yeah I'm on PC
http://www.gamesas.com/user/802354-videogamemage/, I stack blacksmithing/enhcantment gear with potions and then enchant with fortify archery xD
http://www.gamesas.com/user/732618-keldrath/ You don't get the stat boosts. I had no armor rating (I die really fast without my 80% damage reduction) and I don't have my bow which means I don't one shot stuff. I may or may not get stats boosts from enchantments, I haven't looked at that aspect.

Anyhow yeah, Vampire Lord from, while cool has zero scalability and makes me weak. I'd rather just have access to those powers in my normal form.

Ah yes, the fortify restoration glitch. You want a stronger vampire lord? Simply make a glitched out fortify alteration potion, drink it, and cast the spell ebony flesh or dragon hide. If the potion has a high enough percentage you can retain the effect indefinitely like that of a dead thrall.

That would solve my total lack of armor which is the main issue for me since my difficulty is cranked all the way up.

Thats the problem I have too. Ive used the resto loop glitch and my character is invincible except in vl form. I like the challenge but I'd use it more if I could pick stuff up

No offence.
Not the VL svcks, it is exploiting / glitch abuse to create extreme equipment.

By the way 667 (567+100 hidden) is armor cap, so there is no need for 9000 armor.
And 2000 dmg..... onehit everything (exept high lv dragons).

Skyrim can't provide you any challange with such equipment, how about you create some new gear.

No argument here op - you want an overpowered vl without cheating ? Use the amulets, rings and the right powers - you can put a giant or any strong opponent 100 feet away, summon two gargoyles and finish him in few seconds

Where are the fun and the challenge anyway cheating like you do ?

Just don't play this game, if you play the game like that then what the hell is the point, absolute joke.

It's a disgrace to this game franchise quite frankly. You'd be better of with WoW or some similar crap, can't believe you made this thread.

To each his own. But if you want a challenge why make yourself invincible  !!
Playing naked, armed with an iron dagger, no magic on Master. That's a challenge.

I have my level 81 dark elf VL in master dif with all the perks, been playing 31hrs since dawnguard launched and she knows no defeat in Vampire Lord form.

My daedric legendary equipment tends to be better, but the VL has amazing powers and new strategies to discover

I wanted a bow that actually functioned like a bow, if I shoot something in the eye, bar a dragon, it should die. If I shoot a Falmer square in the mouth, if shouldn't shrug it off and run at me, it should screech, grab its face and crumple in a twitching mess.
I've also modded the spawn rates and the AI to reflect a more realistic approach to Skyrim so please, spare me your judgments.

I just find VL to be lacking, not in "coolness" but in power compared to my armor and weapons. But I'm also geared towards being a ranged assassin-range type, I didn't invest a mass amount in health (I'm at 450 health).

http://www.gamesas.com/user/784250-cicero-the-great/, I don't see how its cheating when I'm simply using full smithing gear with Blacksmith's Elixer. I'm not even using the stacking potions into better alchemy/smithing loop so I can get 10k attack weapons.

Bethesda made the game for people like this. They encourage breaking the game and putting your brain asleep.

I know it's a single player game and people can do whatever,but.......it goes to show the generation of gamers we have now. And that's who bethesda wants to target.

I don't think you uderstand that if you loop you get weapons with 6k+ attack, not counting the fortify enchantments that boost your atatck to over 10k damage. I'm probably older then you as well so I find your comment uneducated and insulting.
Just wanted to let you know, because what you did right there was ignorant, rude and disrespectful.

So your only desire is to oneshot everything ? I understand when you say that an arrow in the head is supposed to be definitive  but then we need even a system like fallout in that sense - or better an optional hardcoe mode

1. How'd you get NIghtingale armor to "Legendary"? Best I can do on special armors like this, smithing maxed with all perks, is "Flawless".

2. Only way you can get to the level you're at is to forget about RPing and playing an RPG and grinding the beejeezus out of every single skill tree. I have a really hard time finding sympathy when I've completed all quests and all guild quests as a thief and finished up at level 54 with certain skills (one-handed, light armor, speech) STILL not at 100. As VL (thumbing my nose at Nocturnal's afterlife) I really have no problem destroying just about anything, quite easily.

As an aside, love the teleport feature and can't wait to use it (heavily) in Dishonored, the only up-and-coming that I'm eagerly awaiting.

I believe they abuse Alchemy to level their smithing skill over 100

I'm hoping one day someone will make a mod for that, because Archery in this game takes a certain skill, you have to predict the arch of the arrow, factor in vectors, etc. Getting perfect shots with that kill cam is something I love doing and every arrow through the mouth or heart shot is something I take pride in, so much I'll go to my victems and watch their corpses for a little bit just to tell myself "damn, that was a good shot."

Mine's at 102 if memory serves correct, I didn't know you needed over 100 to turn that armor legendary. That makes me even more proud of my sixy dark elf assassin vampire.

I made leather armor a lot, took me around 12k gold and an hour to max my blacksmithing.

That's what made me die a little inside, because I want my character to turn into a swarm of bats and keep her overpowered armor and weapons. Saldy I've even tried using Bats with the console and it just glitches her through the terrain (I could see me teleporting into a group of enemies with dual wielded Dragon Bone Daggers with some health and stamina steal on them for constant power attack spams.

Comparing to a cheated level 79 character that glitched weapons that can one-shot everything, yeah sure the Vampire Lord form svcks.

Such bullcrap, let's compare a skeever to Alduin next.

How is my character cheated? I don't one-shot everything (even weak dragons take 2+ arrows) and my weapons aren't glitched...but yes, you did get one thing right. Compared to my "1337" character VL form does svck. I rarely die in normal form but the minute I pop out VL form my health drops like a fly because I'm on the hardest difficulty with mods to increase AI intelligence, give dragons better stats/shouts and massively increase the spawns.

For all intensive purposes I'm playing on a "hardcoe+" difficulty and I'm still looking to make it harder without ditching the equipment I worked hard on.

Or 1 Greybeard. Greybeards are op. xD

My Delf stealth mage loves her VL form, came across a battle of forsworn and bandits last night (Warzones Mod) by the time I was done there were over 30 bodies scattered on the ground.

With what you say your mods are you might consider Revamped Vampire Lord, at lower levels it makes the form a bit OP but and the point your in it just may make it viable for you.
