You can see the 364th training squadron dorm across the street, an old dorm being torn down to the right, off to the left you can see some open grass (not sure what's going on there, it was recently planted and mostly roped off), and various buildings such as the movie theater and I think you can probably see the mini-mall. You can also see trainer jets taking off in the distance (they train fighter pilots and NATO fighter pilots here. It's pretty cool, especially when they take off in formation) and the air traffic control tower out there.

So yea. Mostly a bunch of brick and concrete, but being able to see jets flying all day makes up for it.

It's the far-Northeast side of Chicago near the lake facing West. If I pointed the camera farther South you'd see a lot more big buildings.

Chicago, eh? It very closely resembles what I remember of the Vancouver skyline when I stayed in a hotel a year ago. Even the painted building. Pretty cool.

I keep my blinds shut (nosey neighbors...), but if I opened them, I could see:
- My side of the driveway (we have an h shaped driveway, I park on the hump)
- The back of my car
- Neighbor's house across the street
- Fence to the left of my window, blocking that neighbor's yard
- Lots of trees

There is a beautiful wood, located on the edge of a large lake. Deer, beaver, birds and wolves roam often and freely in the wild areas directly outside my window, the sunlight cascading through the trees eluminating the mountains in the background..... and there's is the smell of morning dew and............... *Twitch wakes up*.......{censored}

My bedroom window looks out onto a very serene Weeping Willow. the kind old gentleman is surrounded by a rather beautiful bed of mixed flowers, whose fragrance tickles the nostrils and encourages one to breathe deeply of their essence. But not too deeply, lest you create a whirlwind vacuum and inhale the little fairies that hide amongst the foliage. Even the slightest stirring of wind rustling Mr. Willows branches of an eve, sounds like the gentle whispers of a lover in my ear as I drift off to Slumberland.

This relaxing scene only happens 3 months out of the year, as the rest of the time, it's dead and brown.

Man, you really are obsessed with the airforce. Not a bad thing, but just about every post makes reference to it.

My cousin wants to join the airforce so I hear a lot about it.

My back garden and gum trees in the creek behind my place.

My brother used to have a view of a double story house where he is currently stationed, but a rocket attack one night has now given him a view of the local river.

Out of the back windows, a graveyard. Out of the front, look to the left, a beautiful 12th century Abbey. You won't hear me complaining.

A medium-rise, Miller and Rhodes department store converted into condos and a 1920s theatre just caddy-corner to my apartment.

The lawn, the road, the neighbors house, the neighbors neighbors houses, the neighbors neighbors neighbors houses, and if I really stretch my neck the neighbors neighbors neighbors neighbors houses.

Perhaps your town should change to HD-quality, like the rest of the world? ;)

From my bedroom window I face the north, and not too far ahead there's a brick building with similar outside appearance as the building I'm in, right in front of me, and right beside the building I'm in if you look from outside. My room is dark during all hours.

My view svcks.

On the left, my old high school, close enough that I can look inside the classrooms and have to listen to all those school kids yell and talk trash all day long.

In front of me, one tree and a apartment building, and behind that another part of my old high school. Which svcks because I used to have a beautiful forest view but they mowed down ALL the trees done to make room to build. I spent my childhood in that forest!

On the right, further down the street, another apartment building for old people.

Anyone wanna trade?

A parking lot, some cars/trucks/vans/SUVs, a series of condos, seven trees and the sky. Oh, and some grass. And a shrubbery or two.

The road, my neighbors house, my work van, my pickup truck, my front yard, part of my backyard, the annoying lady's house across the other street.

Snow
Trees covered in snow
A road covered in snow
My neighbour... covered in snow
Snow covered in snow
And other snow covered stuff

Ah, Finnish winters. There's never enough snow.
I hear you.

I see snow.

And trees, a fuel tank, a blue spool covered in snow and falling snow.

This looks beautiful!

What I see from my apartment: a street, with streetcar rails, and on the other side of the street a huge building that used to be the garage of the streetcar company but is now used by both the social services of the local university and the city (they park trucks inside). I can also see parts of the (concrete covered) campus of the faculty of science, and a couple of trees. The streetcars make a lot of noise, even at night.
