Oh it used to be much, much worse. http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii97/Martyr_of_Death/Picture037.jpg used to be at my window. :ahhh:
I've seen that guy somewhere before, looks American.

A big and currently mostly dead oak tree.
A thermometer nailed into said tree that no longer works.
The old swing my dad built that's now rotting and falling apart.
The little house of the neighbor directly across the road.
The huge house of the neighbor next to that.
More trees in the background.

A tree, the road, the house across the road, the mountain across the valley.

Out of my uni bedroom window I can see lots of extremely tall trees that make me feel sick when it's windy because they bend so far. There's a pub behind the trees. The trees are evergreen so I can stand naked in my room all year round without everyone from the pub seeing. That's about it.

From my home window, you can see a green bit of land, some facing houses, and my car on the drive. Here's a picture of it http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l528/Lady-Mara-2/streetinsnow.jpg Bit boring really.

I see a field. Sometimes there's stuff growing in the field... Right now it's just grassy dirt.

A few one-story houses. A road. A few trees. Cars in the drive-way of the houses.

That is all.

I keep my curtains closed 99.9% of the time.

Usually: neighboring houses, our front lawn, bushes, trees, a playground.
Right now: snow-covered tree branches. The tree next to my window is so weighted down by snow, it's bent over my window.

The ocean going float planes zoom by just to the right & behind those homes. (Some are louder than others.) I love my new place. (I moved in September 1st last year.) Its completely surrounded by trees, and right beside the downtown core of my city. (People can't find it all the time, i have to walk out to the street usually.) 3 minutes on a bike and I am downtown.

A square of grass with five boulders on it which are supposed to discourage little boys from playing football (as if, they just play around them xD) and rows of houses which are identical to mine. Can see smoke coming from the big chimney at the mill in the mornings and that's about it.

The view from my bedroom window, complete with the head of the three legged cat.

Right behind that duplex there are train tracks. I don't notice the noise of the train much at all anymore, but the tracks are raised enough that I can see almost the entire train over the roof of the building.

An estate with a lot of people I hate, I usually pull my trousers down and show my ass to them when they try to talk to me.
I have this flat stone thing underneath my window so sometimes I will usually jump out there and blare very, very annoying music.

I have two windows: Behind me and to my left. I keep the one behind me closed because the neighbors yell a lot, which is a shame becuase I like that window open. To my left is my "new favorite" window because I still get the nice airflow and sounds outside are not as loud, but the view is blocked by my garage. It's almost like my back window is a public window and my left window is a private window :D

Snow
Trees covered in snow
A road covered in snow
My neighbour... covered in snow
Snow covered in snow
And other snow covered stuff

Ah, Finnish winters. There's never enough snow.

I've no photo at hand and it's way to dark out to take one, so a description is the best I can do.

In the foreground - our garden, stretching out for 50 metres or so. A large lawn surrounded by a variety of flowers and bushes and a rockery and pond feature. A small wooden gazebo thing about half-way with flowers growing all over it. At the very end, our shed, now completely engulfed in ivy, and a group of apple trees. Beyond that, a wall, and beyond that again, the back of our neighbors house.

Awesome thread.

I see a porch. It has a white railing. Then there is brick paving. On the brick paving, there are pot plants, with plants which are of a kingdom exclusively native to my very tiny corner of the world. Beyond the brick paving is grass, and also more of these plants. The lawn opens onto a pool. An angel's trumped and a few hydrangea bushes grow behind it. To the side is my gazebo.

It's beautiful. :touched:

Awesome thread. :)
