http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1373929-wasteland-2-unity-engine-confirmed/ Thread 4 (sorry, I don't know how to do the fancy linky thingy. Can't figure it out.)

So, Brian Fargo showed a little bit of in game footage at the Unite 2012 - The Power of the Crowd thingy that was held recently. I've not seen the entire video but I did watch the game play footage and am quite impressed by it. But then again, I've not been disappointed by anything I've seen. What are your thoughts on the gameplay footage and are you as excited for this game as I am?

Is there any projected release date for this, by the way?

October, 2013 is the projected release date. Those that pledged have asked inXile that if for some reason it takes longer don't hesitate to extend the production time. Whether they'll actually need to or do it if they have to is unknown. They have however, listened to a lot of what the fans have asked.

I'm totally in favour of 'it's done when it's done', but they can only keep going as long as they can keep paying their employees with the funds they got. That's the disadvantage of kickstarter, they can't ask a publisher for more time and money to work on the game, so they have to be pretty careful with their budget.

I'm Pretty certain if Brian we're to open up a second Kickstarter asking for more money to extend the production time by 18 months no one would have an issue giving more money.

Few updates.

And Jinx has partnered with inXile to create a product line though no details were given as to what Jinx will be creating. I'd assume t-shirts and such.

For those interested if you sign into the Ranger Center between now and the end of the year you receive a free copy of The Bard's Tale. It's only for backers though, so if you didn't back the game you have to buy The Bard's Tale.

I already own The Bard's Tale so...

I had a question for anyone who has donated. So donating $55 gets you the digital collection along with beta acces which is listed in the description. But in the $60 box collection, beta access is not listed in the description. Does anyone know if I donated for the $60 box collection, would I still receive early beta access?

Oh man, shouldn't ave poked my head in here. Really tempted to give some money for this, always behind this type of project. The fact that Wasteland inspired Fallout is more than enough reason to support and buy the sequel. I'll keep an eye on this.

No problem. I keep debating on buying another copy myself. But then I think of what I'm gonna do with so many copies.

As always they do nice work. I'm loving how this game is going to look.

Gabriel, that's not a bad idea actually.

Wasteland 2 T-Shirts are now available of at J1nx. I ordered mine this morning.

If I remember correctly some of the proceeds go to Inxile to help fund the development of the game. More money means a better game.

My T-shirt finally came in. Here's a few pics of it.

I do however, wish the shirts were available in a larger size. The 2x fits, but will shrink when washed. I'm thinking of getting one of those shirt display thingies that hang on the wall and just hanging the shirt up. It's too cool to wear.
