Wait a second, there are ALPS in the Mojave desert?

Theres some kind of mountainous terain around vegas, and theres some places that that are almost white due to the kind of rock there(look around Vegas on Google maps)

I'm not suprised. they laid out all this stuff for Van Buren that never got used.

Not really, I'm sure we won't have Reservation (the original version), Burning Springs, Circle Of Steel, Dogtown and Boulder.

I think he's saying that because a lot of the content in F: NV is stuff similar to what was going to be in Van Buren, like the Ceasar's Legion, Arcade Gannon, and all that.

What's an arcade gannon? Is there going to be snow in this game?

Why do you ask so many questions? It's great that you want to learn everything but I think it might be a good idea for you to head over to the wiki to learn all of the lore.

And anyway, it looks like it is one of the ski resorts near Vegas and Arcade Gannon is a possible companion who was supposed to appear in Van Buren.

He is a character in the game, and in the new screenie with marcus, there appears to be snow.

I would be surprised if we didn't see the reservation in some form, with how important it was to Van Buren, being intertwined with Ceaser's Legion, and the only major ghoul settlement in the game, which there has always been at least one of in every game so far(Necropolis, Gecko, Underworld).

OP should include a picture of marcus. I think the new model for marcus looks great and i think obsidian did a awesome job including him in NV.

I dont think there is a main companion per say. Its just we only knew about two companions before today.

Who's to say Raul is squishy? He could be a beast for all we know. In fact, he might be that Enclave mechanic called Raul from Fallout 2 -- that doesn't sound squishy to me.

how does one become a MAIN companion. there just the only ones we used to know existed.
