This guy

Haha. "Machete!"

It will be interesting to hear Matthew Perry in the game, he is a pretty good actor. Of course Ron Pearlman can continue to be the fantastic narrator. I wonder if he will do every fallout game they ever make. :D

Who's to say Raul is squishy? He could be a beast for all we know. In fact, he might be that Enclave mechanic called Raul from Fallout 2 -- that doesn't sound squishy to me. :D

i say he is squishy because in a game informer article they said that he reminded them of Kif from the tv show futurama. if he acts anything likehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkWl679wB1c&feature=related its hard to find videos of the character. but basicly he is timid and agreeable. Danny Trejo doesn't seem to be the right guy to voice him. but who knows

Main companion = companion voiced by someone famous.
IMHO.

Dunno if that's quite the right way to go about it, but it is, indeed, your opinion.

Here's a thought.
Marcus was described as an 'elderly' mutant in F2. I wonder how he'll be holding up after all this time.
As far as I know, Mutants age (slowly). In Fallout Vree's big theory was that they were sterile, and that mankind could eventually outlive them.

Fantastic. :tops:

Who???
You know... Rubber Duck
(I mean, ah... the guy that played Whistler in Blade, and played the harry bearded tribal escaping in the recent Planet of the Apes ~fantastic voice; almost as good as R. Lee Ermey (Who?))

I really love the way Marcus looks in that http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100810150804/fallout/images/a/a3/New_Vegas_Marcus.jpg, though I now hope that the other Super Mutants also look like that :)

Maybe the more intelligent Super Mutants could look more like Marcus while the dumb-dumbs look like the previous http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100519225323/fallout/images/8/82/FNV_super_mutant.jpg?

Although, the Super Mutant in the back looks to have the same short black hair like the original ones, so it's possible the other (intelligent) Super Mutants also look like him.

Hopefully we'll get more info at QuakeCon.

He probably reminded them of Kif because he is imprisoned by senile super mutants and loved by a cross dressing one. I'd like to see how you would be in that situation.

I wouldn't want the Lieutenant of course, but a few Supermutant troops with loosely similar cybernetic implants would be really cool IMO.

So not that we know Marcus will be back and Arcade Gannon is in the game, what about his guy? http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Joshua_Graham

Of course, some modifications to his history would have to be made, but he seems like a very, very interesting character especially if you're playing an evil bastard.

Wow. I just read the voice acting news. Didn't think they'd go for such a star studded cast. Glad to hear it. I love good voice acting.

That pic looks like breath of fresh air compared to the pics we've seen so far.

Some mighty good news here, truly.

I want somebody with my last name! My incredibly common, and completely unspectacular last name.

...

Yes, yes, all nice and... HOLY... Rene Auberjonois!!! As Mr. House! YEEESSS!!! This game just peaked the Awesome scale and sky rocketed straight through EPIC!

On a calmer note: Mr. Auberjonois is perfect as Mr. House. Well... Hugh Laurie would be cool to but Rene frikin Auberjonois!

I think they lent Obsidian a hand on this one though

I hope that Wes Johnson is doing VA workin New Vegas. Sure, he's not really a big name and is more of a Bethesda dude, but you can't deny that he's got talent. I loved him as Mr Burke.

Our producer here, Jason Bergman, was actually on hand for all of the VO recordings. You can read about Jason's role http://bethblog.com/index.php/2010/04/21/inside-the-vault-jason-bergman/.

Unless I've missed something basic, the companions are not playable. Playable would mean that you could control them instead of your own character. As far as I know you can only give them orders through the companion wheel. What a misleading article.

Yes, you're correct. Slight slip up in the article.

You should hear him at a Washington Capitals game... he's amazing.

Oh my god. Marcus is back. Holy [censored]. I mean, he looks a bit "cleaner" than before but still. I was just thinking "wouldn't it be awesome if they got Marcus's voice actor back" and lo and behold, he's back.
